Trump was a disrupter and not very popular with the GOP when he ran in 2017. And the GOP was not very popular with the people in 2017. The democraps need their own disrupter now as they are even less popular than the old GOP was. In retrospect, Tulsi Gabbard was the perfect person to disrupt and change the democraps, but they kicked her out of the party. Why do the democraps always shoot themselves in the foot? Moreover, the remaining democraps, those that haven't already abandoned the party, are the worst scum and want the party to get even more extreme and hated. I think the only course is for someone like Tulsi to form a new Independent party.

The DNC & their cronies are still hemorrhaging supporters/party members as the entire Democrat party apparatus, both DNC & state/county levels appears to be coming apart @ the seams. Maybe Elon Musk in his prophetic vision somehow seen the statist left committing Harakiri & that's WHY Elon attempted to start another Conservative/Libertarian political party? I am seeing 33% support & dropping @ current for the Dem supporters. Of course the margin of error could be plus/minus 3%-4% so the statist lefties could be as high in supporters as 37% or as low as 29%. The New York Times puts the number of those people at somewhere over two million and it's getting worse by the day. That is compounded by illegals leaving the country either by being caught and deported or self deporting. You're going to be losing multiple Congressional seats because the next Census is going to reflect that. Then there is the issue of money. The Times was also talking about how the Democrats only took in 18 million in donations over the last few months while the GOP took in over 80 million. As for redistricting? The Democrats can bluster all they want about doing the same thing in other States as the GOP is doing in Texas but the cold hard fact is that they've ALREADY gerrymanded the crap out of the States they control and if they want to get in a war with the GOP on this issue there are a lot more States controlled by Republicans that haven't been gerrymanded much at all!
