I see no evidence that atheism does any of those things.
That's because things of the soul remain unseen to the spiritually blind. It's okay, since seeing spiritual strength is not on the atheist agenda, and it is brutal interference in the material world we can see, hear, touch, smell, and taste. Christ didn't invite Thomas the doubter into his discipleship because he was a spiritual man. He had to be shown those nail holes still visible in the risen Lord's palms and feet, so he could touch them and know it was actually the man who'd been nailed to the cross for cruel slaughter when falsely accused, arrested under suspicion, and returned to churchmen so the governor did not have to take any responsibility whatever for a lawsuit based on murdering an innocent man. The sacrificial lamb was thus taken to be murdered by soldiers so the elite didn't have to get their hands bloody, but it didn't take the stain from the evil spirits that owned the souls of these control freak revenge-seekers. Thomas was needed to show people like him who have to use their senses to believe, and the remedy to unbelief is effective prayer that begins with "Lord, please help me with my unbelief." Once in a while, a sensual man or woman has the opportunity to feel the nail holes after asking God to show them what they cannot see that other men and women can. People only try it when they want to turn their pointless life around and make it mean something while they are still alive. Just sayin'. Some are simply unmotivated to find spiritual joy, because it's their chosen escape.
That's one way of looking at it. Nonetheless, I see no evidence that atheism does any of those things.
That's because the socialists of this nation will not admit they are following the footsteps of all other socialists including the Soviet Socialists who in 1917 called it the "Bolshevik Revolution," and proceeded in the following course to murder not only the Czar, his wife, babies, and growing children, but millions of Russian citizens and those in satellite countries who did not cotton to communism, which is the final stage of the socialist movements that have existed in this world. And the ones in Washington DC have taken their desire for communism (disguised under the innocent-sounding word, "socialism") to the level of covetousness, leaving freedom and the Constitution in the debris of their rhetoric. The wholesale outlawing of Christian prayer has reshaped their meetings, from brotherly love to pissing on their enemies, the Republican Party, who begin all their meetings with the traditional prayers of our Christian and Pilgrim fathers in the spirit of brotherly love which means feeling merciful to the needs of their fellow statesmens' citizens. This cannot be "seen," but it is a powerful bond when fair play abounds.
With only pointless goals of greed and grandeur produced by faithlessness to one's fellows, there becomes less and less need for the Constitution and more and more need for the absolute say-so of those expressing greed and grandeur, wherever that axe of truth falls.
