Early supporters for the civil rights movement predicted that when Negroes were given equal rights most of them would begin to behave and perform as well as most whites. Instead black rates of crime and illegitimacy rose, while average black academic performance has improved little, despite increases of money spent to improve black education.

Third, I think that you have simply stated what a lot of people privately take for granted.

Fourth -- and most important -- it does not matter whether your observation is true or not.

It is simply a fact that until the end of time, we are going to be told that there is absolutely no difference between the "races." That the "race" in question will eventually catch up to the other "races" as they are given more opportunities and as discrimination against them is erased.

That is the official party line that we are expected to believe.

Maybe it is true; maybe not.

In any case, it will be the party line that all Americans must publicly subscribe to for as long as this nation exists.

Based on available data from 1980 to 2008—  Blacks were disproportionately represented as both homicide victims and offenders. The victimization rate for blacks (27.8 per 100,000) was 6 times higher than the rate for whites (4.5 per 100,000). The offending rate for blacks (34.4 per 100,000) was almost 8 times higher than the rate for whites (4.5 per 100,000)

Race realists look at evidence of intractable differences in average characteristics societies and civilizations need to thrive, and attribute the differences to genetic differences.

They tend to have low IQ's, to be unmarried, and to be marginally employable, or completely unemployable. A much higher percentage of black females are that way than white females. Oriental females are even less likely to be that way.

SAT's have been shown to be invalid determinants of IQ or ability. And if you go back and do the research you find that the SAT was created by a man named Madison Grant. Grant was a racist that promoted the Nordic Theory of white supremacy.

There is a strong correlation between all mental aptitude tests, including SAT and IQ. A quick cruise on the internet could not verify your claim that Madison Grant created the test. I do know that Madison Grant thought that those of Germanic ancestry - he called them Nordics - tended to be more intelligent than the other racial groups, including Orientals. The results of SAT scores indicate otherwise.

Whites raised in lower middle class families tend to perform better on the SAT than blacks raised in upper class families. This is due to a well understood biological process called "reversion to the average." Exceptional characteristics are caused by recessive gene allles that rarely match in the children of exceptional parents.

SATs and high school GPAs are indeed predictive of college success. The reason so many colleges are dropping the test is because it makes it hard to justify why they are rejecting whites with high scores and accepting blacks with lower scores. In order not to be hauled into court for adjusting standards up or down, depending on the race of the applicant, they just eliminate the test.
