What Is It With Women and The Democratic Party?

So people are left with a choice on family planning.

For most middle class earners, the choice is to sacrifice some luxuries and have children or to not have children and have these luxuries. As adults are much slower to mature these days, many are choosing luxuries over family. New cars, Starbucks, movies, dining out, etc. They can’t afford new cars but that doesn’t prevent them from financing them. Most credit card debt isn’t accrued from paying the light bill or buying groceries, but rather luxury items that weren’t needed, just wanted. It isn’t coincidental that personal debt, minus house debt, has grown significantly over the last couple/few decades.

Also, many aren’t having children because of the inconvenience and additional responsibility. They want to be able to do as they please when they please. No planning vacations around kid’s school vacation schedules or forgoing the night at the bar/club after work or on weekends.

Bottom line is that it is both financial and emotional immaturity that, in most cases, is leading to less births, not real financial concerns.

Hmmm....

Could it be most women don't like a predator who grabs women's pussies? You think?

Could it be most women don't like a rapist who sexually assaults women in elevators? You think?

Could it be most women don't like a piece of shit who cheats on THREE wives? You think?

Could it be most women don't like a slug who is out ******* a porn actress while his wife is home with their newborn? You think?

Could it be most women detest a party who worship that scumbag? You think?

Do you? Think, I mean?

Only a woman with ZERO self respect and ZERO religious convictions would vote for a violator of all that is holy.
One day people will be fighting over a loaf of bread if we keep this up. For some reason all Progressives are innocent of everything.

This, but also, you can't go to war against a woman's fertility.

I know it's counter-cultural, but I was always honest with my daughter about age and fertility. That is, in small ways I let her know that yes, women DO get pg in their 40s, but it's often by no means easy. Women's fertility wanes hard in mid-30s and nosedives near 40. Too many modern women just take for granted that getting pg is easy. It is for some, but for all by a long shot.

I think older generations had it right: have your kids young and figure it out.

I really feel like Gen Z is the first one to be told how great college is--how it increases wages and wealth--and find out it's a fat lie. For my kids and many of their friends, it has been a fat lie.
That’s because they’ve dumbed down college to the extent that it’s equivalent to high school. There are alarming reports about the number of college kids taking remedial math.

A bright kid - who used to be referred to as “college material” - who majors in a career-oriented field such as accounting, engineering, architecture, etc. - will indeed see his lifetime earnings exceed high school grads by $2 million.

And your answer is to hand out $100,000 when a woman has a baby? Liberals’ answer is always to take money from someone who earned it and give it to someone who didn’t,

Here’s the responsible path:

1. Go to college or a vocational school and train for a career.
2. Once you marry, delay children for a few years while you build up a nest egg.
3. Buy a small house or condo when the children come along, and get by on one salary until the kids are in school. (Stick with two kids.)
4. Then, in about 8 or 10 years, the mother returns to work.
5. THEN buy a more expensive home.

Ah yes, Lisa the racists and clueless idiot has a plan for life.

1. Tuition has increased by more than 10 times what you paid to go to college. Wages have not gone up 10 fold so you end up with a LOT of student debt.

2. “Once you marry delay having children for a few years”. You’re in college until your 22 or 23. Abortion is banned in 22 states so the ONLY way to really ensure you “delay having children” is don’t have sex with you spouse.

3. The average house price in the USA is over $500,000. Even a “small house” is out of reach for those with big student loans.

4. The mother can’t afford to stay home with the kids you moron. She can’t take 8 or 10 years off work because her husband doesn’t make enough to support the family.

You really need to get a clue.

How many computational jobs will be taken over by AI though?

Why vote for a party intent on forcing women to carry a fetus to term against their will?
"Why are you forced to hit the ground and go splat (against your will) if you willingly jump off a building?"

Don't you lib women love birth control? Wasn't that your whole bag, after all? What now, it's all ineffective? Huh

You really need to get a clue.

You must live in big blue city. You don’t have a clue.

There are plenty of places to live and work where detrimental Democrat policies haven’t taken hold and ruined the opportunity to live a decent life without having to make 6 figures+.

There's truth to that too, but from about one generation ago--from the millennials. Gen Z cannot afford the above house, not even on two good incomes.
Very much the reality in todays america. You hit the nail directly on the head. And then add the costs of all the rest and its really difficult. And some then wonder why less anf less and having families. Like voting, its the economy and affordability. Common sense.

The "way its always been done" mantra is slowing but surely losing its footing. People dont want to eek by. And i dont blame them. Its not a duty to marry and have kids. Its a choice. That freedom to make that choice isvwhy the nation is great. Societal pressure to do this or dont do this is being pushed aside.
Nah ....
Societal pressures remain, just changed is all ...

County I live in used to be like that.
Until about 25-30 years ago when detrimental Democrat policies began to kick in and made cost of living here twice what it should be.

Young people arent interested in barely eeking by so they can have a child. And frankly i dont blame them. Nor should you. Its not their duty to have kids.

Part of it is that the definition of a “good life” - meaning middle class - has taken on a new meaning.

Back in the 50s, a family with a working dad and a SAH mom with two kids lived in a 1000 foot square ranch house or split level, with one bathroom. There was one car. There was no garage. Eating in a restaurant was reserved for someone’s birthday, and even then it was an inexpensive place. A vacation was a one-week apartment rental a few blocks off the beach. There was one TV.

Now, young families feel deprived if they don’t have a 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom house with a 2-car garage, can afford a winter ski trip and a summer week to Disney, eat out regularly, with every kid having his own TV, iPhone, and iPad. Dinners at steakhouses and upscale seafood places are looked upon as being part of the middle class.

Here is a 3-bedroom, 2-bath home that a single earner making $75,000 could afford. Decent starter home for a young family. Then, when the kids are older, Mom can go back to work and they can buy a nicer home.

Alas, decent starter home like that is no longer affordable in my county.
Democrat policies have raised prices to where that home would cost at least twice* the price shown.
* in some neighborhoods, about triple.

Bright kids will always do well. But they’re the exceptions. What about the rest of them? The ones who aren’t “above average”. The 80% of students who aren’t “well above average”.

When I was in my 20’s, I had a nice 3 bedroom house, a new car, and two beautiful children. My salary was $15,000 per year. You can’t do that today.

The house we paid $50,000 for, now sells for $600,000. The job I had now pays $70,000 per year. Not even 5 times what I made, and the house has is 12 times more expensive.

My university tuition was $2000 per year. I could make that in a summer. The same program today is $20,000 per year. Just for tuition.

Your economic comments are just so out of touch with reality.

Hey stupid. It’s not the Democrats’ policies that raised house prices.

Stop believing the Republican bullshit. Corporate greed in the housing market raised the prices.

Then that’s their choice: Live in a modest house while the kids are young, and move up to a large home in their mid-40s.

I “eeked by” when I was young, although I didn’t consider it that. I just had realistic expectations that more luxury would come as I moved up the career ladder.

You must be brain dead. I don’t live in the USA. It’s in my profile.

The moment you blame Democrats for the mess Republicans have made of your economy, is the moment I know you don’t have the first clue.

It’s not the Democrats who have crashed the economy 4 times in the past 100 years you clueless dolt.

Then buy a home in a Republican area, or an hour outside a Dem city.

I wouldn’t want to be in a Dem city, anyway. Full of crime, welfare recipients, and mayors who side with criminals.

Yes, we are VERY spoiled in this country. That is a fact.
