The tea partiers have turned out to be the joke of the year, just as most sane people knew they would.

Ha! You think they look silly now? Wait a year... "Remember when all those idiots used to have 'Tea Parties?'"

...I wonder what kind rabble rousing the TP enthusiasts might have planned for the month-long August recess just prior to the November election.

Thankfully, their efforts last year didn't have the main result they were after.

Has anyone ever figured out WHAT they were after? All they have managed to do is split the GOP vote in most races?
