There are 2 trillion galaxies now and our MW is only 1

Our MW has billions of stars and trillions of planets
20 billion earth like planets

Yet zero sign of any intelligent life or anyone finding us ??

Are we all alone ??

Yes, I believe so. If the universe is to be populated it will be life from here on earth. It is why we should preserve all types of Flora and Fauna on this planet and as we journey out into space will bring life of all types with us and populate planets that will accept it. It is our purpose to be fruitful and multiply and go as far as our intelligence and talents will carry us.

I used to think the same thing, until the brown turd decided that NASA shouldnt be going into space, but give the money to Muslims.

The Fermi paradox

Not quite ...

Evolution correctly predicts we'll find life in great abundance everywhere we look here on Earth ... and we should be finding life in great abundance everywhere we look beyond ...

Fermi's Paradox is simply "where is everyone?" ...

The Twinkling Void

We've barely scratched the surface of Earth's resources. The rulers don't want widespread prosperity. That's why they are promoting this useless Trekkie circus.

We should know far more about what is beneath the surface than we've wasted studying Astrogeekery.

Our wee little planet formed in a unique way. Something massive struck us hard. The planet was almost destroyed. But gravity kept a shit load of our molten rock together still spinning but at a new angle.

And much of the debris which shot off into space eventually (over a long period of time) coalesced into our moon. And because that moon helps control our ocean tides, when our oceans formed, they changed our weather. Winds and moisture in the air. Rain on formerly dry land. Etc.

Many believe it was these precise conditions which led to life arising on Earth.

Despite the incredible number of galaxies and star systems with planets orbiting around them, what are the odds of our conditions also randomly happening in any of those other planets?

I’d guess: not impossible. But damn rare.

We may not be alone in the entire cosmos. But we may never be around to ever observe any other sentient life off of our little blue planet.

I am pretty sure we are not. Science has made a huge discovery pertaining to dimensions. I am going to start a thread on it this evening. It is kind of mind-blowing.

Maybe life is in other galaxies from the MW

would you, as an advanced being, want anything to do with a race of self absorbed a**holes ?

Maybe for sheer amusement or a good laugh...sure :D

That is...if aliens laugh.
