What If Trump Decides To Tell Starmer He Has To Give The Falklands To Argentina?

I'd love to see that. And what if Starmer tells Trump he has to give up Grenada?
Starmer would give Trump the falklands he is a coward, he is already rowing back on his stance against allowing US to launch attacks from the UK, American heavy bombers have already landed at RAF Fairford which is a British base in name only it is really a US base, years ago i had to visit there i hd to report to the Guard room have my photo taken etc, they were American military police and outside was a kid who looked about 16 with a M16. :abgg2q.jpg:

Starmer ... is already rowing back on his stance against allowing US to launch attacks from the UK,
Really? I may have misjudged him too harshly. From my point of view, obviously.

Well!

Interesting.

I'm not sure he'd have been younger than 18 but I get your point. Speaking of the RAF I may have mentioned that I was employed as a civilian at RAF Gatow 1978-79. A worthwhile experience. :)

No. He's still a lap dog of the US.

The UK continues to cooperate closely with the US on intelligence, trade, and defense, despite recent friction regarding military action in the Middle East. While Prime Minister Keir Starmer has asserted that the "special relationship" remains strong with daily collaboration, President Trump has criticized the UK for not participating in initial strikes on Iran.

Key Aspects of Current Cooperation (as of March 2026):
  • Defense & Intelligence: The UK remains a key military ally and continues to share intelligence with the US, though the UK has recently limited the use of its bases for certain offensive operations against Iran, focusing instead on "defensive" strikes.
  • Trade: A 2025 "Economic Prosperity Deal" exists between the two nations, which aims to enhance industrial and agricultural market access, although it has faced challenges, including U.S. tariffs on steel and aluminum.
  • Strained Relations: President Trump has publicly questioned the strength of the relationship, describing it as "not what it was" and criticizing the UK's level of involvement in Middle Eastern conflicts.

Despite these tensions, officials on both sides emphasize that the core operational, economic, and intelligence partnership remains in place.

Did you say that before he demanded Greenland and Canada? 😂

Good idea. If Trump handed Starmer a shit sandwich, all Starmer could do is ask him rye or plain toast before greedily shoving it in his mouth and gulping it down. Brits are the perfect dhimmis.

Could Trump withdraw US support for UK sovereignty of Falklands?

Proposal said to be contained in internal Pentagon email is thought to be bid to punish European countries for failing to assist in war in Iran
24 Apr 2026 ~~ By Daniel Boffey

The White House is considering punishing European countries that have failed to assist Donald Trump wage his war in Iran, according to an official within the Pentagon. Keir Starmer, once described as “very nice”, is now routinely said by the US president to be a “coward” and “no Churchill”. It is claimed that Trump could go further and withdraw American support for Britain’s sovereignty of the Falkland Islands over which the UK and Argentina went to war in 1982. The proposal is said to be contained in an internal Pentagon email.
What does the Pentagon email say?
The memo’s contents have only been briefed out but it is claimed the White House is looking at how to puncture the Europeans’ “sense of entitlement”. Trump has expressed his frustration at the reluctance or refusal of some Nato allies to grant the US access to bases and overflight rights. One punitive measure being considered is the suspension of Spain from Nato, although it is unclear how this would be achieved.
What is the current US position on the Falklands?
The UK’s claim to sovereignty over the Falkland Islands, known in Argentina as Islas Malvinas, is based on the argument that with the “exception of two months of illegal occupation in 1982”, Britain has “continuously, peacefully and effectively inhabited and administered” them since 1833. The British government further claims that it is up to the people of the Falklands to choose their own future and status. The US does not currently take a position on the sovereignty of the islands.

What is likely to happen?
Nothing. King Charles is on a state visit to the US next week. Trump has appeared utterly enamored of the British royal family and has said the king’s visit might well “fix” relations after a rocky period. Trump has developed a rapport with Argentina’s president, Javier Milei, who recently reasserted his country’s claim to the islands, but it seems highly unlikely Trump would want to dedicate any time at all – or that of his officials in the UN – on the issue. There are deep security ties between the UK and the US, and such a pivot would be heavily resisted within the system.

Commentary:
If Trump were to support Argentina in this effort it would be a blow to British Commonwealth Sovereignty, that truthfully no longer exists.
