Culture always changes. You can't solidify culture otherwise it'll go stale.

Nothing from our culture relates back to 2,000 years ago, and nothing now will exist in 2,000 years. It'll be all historical sites or destroyed.

In fact culture has changed so much. The internet and technology (especially) have destroyed culture.

Thomas Hardy was lamenting the destruction of the village way of life in southern England in the 1800s. Nothing remains even of that. All the things people did because they were BORED, like May Pole dancing and fairs and things, kids don't care, they've got computers, phones and people like Trump and TikTok to entertain them 24/7.

We've literally destroyed our culture.

And we don't care.
