In the past Democrats have done much for average Americans. But now, like every Republican holding public office, the "moderate" Democrats have sold themselves to the billionaires and Big Business.
The progressive Democrats still fight for the average Americans, but the trumpublican and most centrist voters are convinced the very wealthy and Fortune 500 companies must be protected from government regulations and all forms of taxation.
These same voters willingly accept the federal government borrowing trillions-of-dollars to spend on forever wars, subsidies to benefit corporate missteps, and federal giveaway programs to the billionaire class. But when it comes to our crumbling infrastructure, fighting climate change, addressing the growing number of impoverished families, and other serious problems of economic inequality the trumpublican and centrist voters bury their heads in the sand and deny the problems exist.
The congressional Republicans have served Big Money for decades, and over the past forty years the "moderate" Democrats gradually jumped onto the Big Money gravy train, joining the GOP ignoring the needs of their constituents.
Average Americans can't afford the bribe money to buy their federal Representatives' and Senators' loyalty and services. Only the "hated progressives" remain uncorrupted, but that honesty and integrity scares the he11 out of the trumpublican and centrist voters.
Sadly, the trumpublican voters are eager to see the U.S. democracy fail, while the centrists are content to "wait and see", and will not get off their centrist a$$es and react until it is too late.
The centrists' have a long tradition of political indecisiveness, and in next year's Mid-term Elections that tradition will effectively end our constitutional government. And, those tens-of-millions of eternally confused and wavering centrist voters... will never see it coming,
