I really had thought we were done with blacks demanding reparations. Rep. Summer Lee, D-Pa., plans to introduce the Reparations Now Resolution on Thursday. Lee met with other lawmakers and activists on Capitol Hill on Tuesday at an event titled "Why We Can’t Wait: Advancing Reparative Justice in Our Lifetime." She argues that reparations are a "moral and legal obligation" for Americans.

I can see paying reparations to certain still living slaves on a case by case basis but not to any of their descendants and certainly not to just black people in general, whether they are descendants of slaves or not.

You know, I have said this before and have been attacked by the left for it, but, the truth is, most of the descendents of those slaves are actually better off today than if their ancestors had never been slaves at all. These descendants have it better off now than if their ancestors had stayed in their shithole countries, where these descendants would have been born and lived.

A long time ago I did a little research into slavery. I was taught in school that southern plantation owners funded slavery, and paid Americans to use American merchant ships to go deep into savage Africa to capture slaves, then bring them back for sale to southern plantation owners. In reality, African tribesmen were constantly at war with other nearby tribes and sold their prisoners to EUROPEAN slave merchants who then brought them to America, AND MANY OTHER PLACES around the globe. Slavery was a global trade enabled by Africans capturing and selling fellow Africans to the EUROPEANS who couldn't even leave the dock without catching Malaria and other diseases. But, now these ignorant neo-leftists want the American Taxpayer to pay for the sins of global slavery. I say Africa needs to pay reparations to the American blacks for capturing their ancestors and selling them to EUROPEAN slave traders.

Two generations of favoring blacks over whites for college seats, grad school seats, jobs, and promotions is reparations enough. if someone STILL feels that he’s entitled to money for being black after his grandfather got into a better college due to skin color, and his father got into a better college due to skin color and then got a promotion for the same reason, well….he’s already been given advantages that he wouldn’t have had had he been white by being in a family with two prior generations of college graduates and higher-earning parents.
