The point was, ACA didn't cover GAC until a recent rule change, and that rule is being changed right back.

Meanwhile, private plans cover it, no problem. Because it has clear benefits.

My objection is that it's a con job on these poor people, who really think this franken stuff is going to make them a woman. It doesn't make them a woman. I can't find it now but there was a conference a few years back where a woman stands in front of a bunch of hospital system administrators and touts the monetary benefits to those systems of gender reassignment surgery and the money to be made off of after surgery "maintenance".

I swear, it was almost unholy.....And I'm agnostic at best.

I recently had to go to the ER for what I thought might be a cardiac issue. The bill was over $7000.00 (Of which I ended up paying $2000.00) Didn't want to go to the ER, but they insisted.

When the wife had covid it damn near killed her and her bill was near a half million.....We did not pay a penny.

Complications from same have put her in the hospital a couple times since.....$0 out of pocket.

All we pay besides a monthly premium (around $750) is a penitence for Rx drugs. Usually around $3 average per Rx.....It's good to have congress-critter insurance.
