What Happens to America if Seaport Workers go on Strike on October 1? Find out here!

Negotiations should be happening so the workers are given a fair wage and benefits. Their pay rightfully should go up nicely.

Before the longshoreman walk out the president will almost certainly order a ninety day cooling off period. So the disorder and political ramifications will happen after the November 5th election if at all. Still it might be wise for people to stock up on essential imported items before then.

They don't want any robotics doing their jobs. That's not feasible, sorry

Considering that oil is land-based I see no problem.

You better be prepared for the inevitable if Longshoremen go on strike. The gas stations will be out of fuel and the grocery shelves will be empty. It will be total chaos. Lucky for me I have food and water stored for situations like this. Prepping is essential for survival.

Just went out and spent $444 on items that i might need later on, just in case the strike happens. Yeah, i know, if they dont strike, i have extra items, that i can use up in the next year, but if the strike does happen, i just saved a ton of money.

Please work hard for less money?
Please work hard for less money, or lose your fucking job.

Eastern Airlines found out the hard way.
TWA found out the hard way.
Air Traffic Controllers found out the hard way.

Let them walk off the job, then bring in the Navy, Army and Air Force logistic people, who get paid less, but work harder.
