What ever happened to that ridiculous climate change hoax.

Easy, it's evident.

Your denial is irrational. Like a phobia.
Let's start over.
My "phobia"
You used denial & irrational in the same sentence.
What facts are we talking about ?
Let's begin with "average temperature".

This is smarter than both of us.

Oregon Petition - Wikipedia Oregon Petition - Wikipedia

Wow i tried to find my dad's name & found this.
Wikipedia treats it as a bad book review.
That's scary, google just buries it.

This is why we have climate change & chicken little all at the same time.

People don't want their paychecks going to "settled science".

Taking food out of taxpayers mouths.

For what, it's a joke & the joke is on Democrat hysteria.

Equally disturbing is the way denier enabalists
speak to us in open forum
Not with facts
but with an ever endless supply of
snotty "hip"
ad hominem epithets, which are decidedly not "science" in any way shape or form.

Check your shoelaces
ask the kids.
Hey Who wants to grow up & be Al Gore !

Better hurry though,
you can still save the animated polar bear...

What ever happened to your brain? Are you incapable of reading scientific papers? Or perhaps you are one of the "Them thar pointy headed librul scientists don't know nuttin' " people. LOL Too bad this nation has a surplus of willfully ignorant fools like you.

Still waiting for the evidence that climate has actually changed....., there are only 5 main groups to consider.

"The Köppen climate classification divides Earth's climates into five main climate groups, with each group being divided based on patterns of seasonal precipitation and temperature."

LINK

You have seen this many times now and you always ignore it because you fear getting brain damage from valid infomation overload.

Snicker

Also why this hot politics thread was moved to "environment"

Was it?

Lookie there, it was.

Not saying it's so but I have a long history of me showing up, fu(kin/derailing a thread up so it needs be hidden in a never read sub-forum.

.staff is already sick of you. (Marchimedes.)

man I had to search hither and yon to find all that.

Staff, I say, has been going balls out trying to hide $h!t from me but they don't understand I am a Master of search-fu.

I know more about finding stuff than staff does.

EMH makes opponents of AGW look bad with his idiotic arguments there is no warming and the seas have not been rising. The planet has been warming since the end of the last glacial period like it always does after a glacial period of which there have been ~30 over the last 3 million years when the ice age began after the planet transitioned from a greenhouse state to an icehouse state. Man's CO2 emissions have contributed between 0.22 C to 0.5 C over the last 100 years or so. That's it. The planet is mostly warming due to the deglaciation of the northern hemisphere like it always does until the next glacial period begins.

This shows what the planet has been doing for the last 3 million years.

This shows that northern hemisphere glaciation and deglaciation affects the temperatures of the ocean and atmosphere even in the south pole which makes the glacial cycles of the northern hemisphere the dominant climate driver of the planet.

This is the kind of post i enjoy,
not just "you're a moron for not believing "the scientists" ".

We've had thermometers for 200 years,
that's a red flag.
Go's along with the arrogance of a political crusade. It's wealth realocation disguised as "taxlike", a Democrat ulterior motive.
Money drives the bus, if the "calamity"
was real people be eager to work on it for free,
Like Trump being President,
winning three election serving two.
2.4 million salery into the treasury, Obama didn't do that.

EMH makes opponents of AGW look bad ...

Any professional prophet knows we only need to be right 5% of the time ... if the data is being fudged, then the conclusions are dishonest ...

Opponents of AGW need to be made to look bad ... they have the same idiotic arguments ... folks should at least learn how to read a scientific instrument ... like a thermometer ...

This 15 minute video, "Reading Scales on Measuring Instruments", is full of examples ... the part I'm bellyaching about atop this particular soapbox starts at 10m30s ...

Our 20th Century average temperature was 13ºC ± 0.5ºC ... today it's 14ºC ± 0.5ºC ... thus my claim this warming is borderline instrumentation error ... but it is warming ... slightly ... not near enough to change weather, so it won't change average weather = climate ... q.e.d.

Not all opponents of AGW need to be made to look bad ...

This is pretty simple... if the seas are rising the planet is warming. Which shouldn't be a surprise to anyone because that's what the planet does everytime the northern hemisphere deglaciates like it is doing today and began well before man got involved with emitting carbon.

So when you say the warming is bordeline, I'm not sure what that means. If you are saying it isn't catastrophic, I would agree. If you are saying almost not at all, I would disagree. Additional CO2 has added to the natural warming but it's not as bad as they say because they are ignoring natural warming that always occurs when the northern hemisphere deglaciates.

Airport tarmacs over air conditionersthermometers everywhere,
Yeah last saturday was chilly, phone that in...
Thermometers are great
But only for the past 200 years.
No big mystery here.

The incredible similarity is a direct link to melting ice & record cold antartica, & that fuckin' sunball... Just sits there...

I still say it's the sun.
No one mentions geothermic entropy
it's heat in the bank.
If i come back in 1000000 years and find the earth frozen, i'm going to be very upset that no one considered this
in appreciation of the generations ahead.
I guess the next consensus will command the average temperature of the center of the earth.

Volcanos floods tsunamis avalanche
Earthquakes for God's sake.
Tornados hurricanes insects solar eclipse bad politics...

As everyone knows
came along well after the internet.

God only knows
what the moon will be doing then.

The sun is remarkably consistent. They wave their arms about orbital forcing but that's all they can do because orbital forcing - like solar variation - can't cause abrupt glaciation or deglaciation. Only the ocean can do that. Specifically heat circulation from the Atlantic to the Arctic. It's the disruption and return of heat circulation to the Arctic which causes abrupt glaciation and deglaciation.

The role of the ocean in storing, distributing and establishing climate is well known and well understood. Change the currents and you change the climate. Some regions are more sensitive to change than others and have more of a global impact than others. The Arctic is that region. The Little Ice age was triggered by a disruption of the ocean's heat circulation to the Arctic and that when that heat circulation was restored, the planet returned to it's natural interglacial warming trend. The contribution of the Industrial Revolution isn't nothing but all warming is not due to it. 0.22C top 0.5C is the contribution of 120 ppm of CO2.
  1. The ocean stores the majority of heat the earth receives from the sun
  2. The ocean holds 1000 times more heat than the atmosphere
1768070320704.webp

  1. The ocean distributes that heat to the rest of the globe using currents
1768070344966.webp

  1. Without ocean currents the polar regions would be colder.
  2. If heat circulation from the Atlantic to the Arctic were disrupted it would lead to catastrophic cooling

  1. Ocean currents are affected by density (salinity and thermal expansion) and wind.
  1. Wind patterns are affected by the sun

I want to know the average annual
thermal release from center earth.

Is that in the "equation" ?

we are spending trillions
on "chasing" windmills & private runways.

They should just vent one of the working volcanoes into space if it makes them happy. Iceland's done it for thousands of years.

To the warmalist pansies,
who are you to give away my heat,
my children's future warmth

they've become poor trembling malnurishished
vitamin D starved innocent "wondering why
what were they thinking"
souls,
All because some thoughtless Democrat decided they can decide for everyone.
