What Do They See In America?

Freebies? That's the best you morons can come up with?

What freebies do current illegal aliens get in America?

Right now all those illegal kids have shelter and food while there are homeless vets in this country. Any illegal woman with kids gets WIC, TANF, etc. Many of them claim not to be married so they can get more benefits. Then their husband works under the table. They pay no taxes, they get freebies, many of them live better than American citizens working minimum wage jobs and paying all the taxes and not lying and collected benefits they aren't entitled to. Even heard from one social worker who said that 5 kids came in on two different days with two different women. They two women, both illegals both got benefits for the same five kids. Her supervisor said they could do nothing. She ended up taking pictures of the kids after that and I'm assuming they when to a different office for help after that. Have you been to your local DSHS? Around here there are few there that can speak English. They get help while Americans are often denied benefits.

They also come here to get jobs and send the money back home...and they can, since they don't pay taxes and are not in the books. Once enough funds are sent home, they urge family to come join them and it starts all over again.

That's another thing that is not talked about enough. These people are not coming here to be immersed in America, they're coming here to take jobs that FOREVER will be at slave wages as long as there is this endless supply of slave labor. And the money they do earn, much of the time ends up where they come from.
These are not like immigrants of the past that came here to be Americans, learn the common language, and be part of the system that made this country great.

Yea they are coming here to hump shingles on a roof for 100 dollars a day. And that is excellent money for them. Or throw hod for 100 bucks. ( I guarantee you that YOU personally would not do either job for 100 bucks for a 10 to 12 hour day.)

Then they do what other immigrants have always done. They share housing, share food costs, share transportation costs etc. All so they can do what Americans used to do; take care of their families the best way they can.

I have worked with poor white people, poor black people and poor brown people. The brown people will work their ass off for 100 dollars a day. Every day. They always show up ready to work. Can't say that about all the other poor I have worked with.

Damn the immigrants for making poor Americans look bad.

Yep, I know people who put up roofs for 100 bucks a day, painted my house for $100 a day and they are American citizens who have to compete with illegals for their jobs.

I myself worked in the berry fields until they refused to take me. I worked as a maid. I have a friend who's been a maid for 30 years and she still makes minimum wage. She keeps getting pushed out of her job by hispanics, who when they come in, they take over and when hours are short they cut the hours for the white people until they can no longer work there and have to look for work somewhere else. There are no jobs Americans will not do, there are jobs that have been taken away from Americans.

Opportunity, just like many before them did. I'm not excusing illegals just calling em as I see em. They aren't all coming here for lazy welfare, that's our own citizens. These people want a better life.

Don't we all want a better life? Why should they get their "better life" at our expense?

So, they have the wrong view of America then. Perhaps if they wanted a better life they would come here legally. Who, then, is responsible for instilling such a view?
They can't. It could take up to 20 years for them to get here legally. In that time they U.S. war on drugs may have already killed them.

So, people shouldn't have to expend some sort of effort in becoming a citizen?
Strawman. I said get here legally, not be granted citizenship.

I couldn't help but notice by your avatar that you are a Voluntaryist. I am a libertarian, and if libertarianism had a lunatic fringe, voluntaryism would be it.
Ad hominem.

Frankly, you complained about how long it took to become a citizen here, I can only deduce from that fact that you want the rules relaxed or completely done away with. If you can prove otherwise, let's hear it.

I despise voluntaryism. It is a form of anarchism I will not abide by.

No I didn't. I was talking about coming to the country legally. People wait in line to become legal permanent residents. They don't just automatically become citizens. I do not advocate granting anyone that wants citizenship instant citizenship. In order to become a citizen, you generally have to be a permanent resident for 5 years.

Interesting? Sounds like you were willing to take advantage of the depressed wages you think the illegals are bringing about.

You could have paid an American at LEAST 150 a day to paint your house. Why didn't you? That's only 15 bucks an hour for a ten hour day. Were you forced to pay 100 dollars?
Did the American start out higher in his bid and you worked him down because you knew you could hire a couple illegals?

Just curious.

Yes, people wait in line years to come here. Some never get to come here. Why do you think just because you sneak across the border you should be granted rights that we didn't give to LEGAL immigrants?

Apparently for the dumb I have to spell this out again. I AM NOT EXCUSING ILLEGALS JUST CALLING THEM AS I SEE THEM. THEY ARE LOOKING FOR A BETTER LIFE.

You know as much as conservatives complain about birth control and abortion depopulating America to what they say is our peril,

you would think that they would jump at the chance to use refuge/asylum laws to increase the number of young people in America.

I just thought of something. Is it because America is exceptional that those immigrants are coming here in the first place? So, what do they see in America that Obama doesn't? It's sad that foreigners and illegal aliens have more pride in America that the President does right now. Frankly, they see more promise in this nation than Obama does.

Think about that one, long and hard.

Why? You obviously didn't

You want others to think? How about educating yourself first.

American-Born Gangs Helping Drive Immigrant Crisis at U.S. Border

I'm just mad because my friend is going home. She came here legally from Japan, got her degree, and now she's on her way home. She got to stay a couple extra years due to Fukishima and the area she's from in Japan, but now they are sending her home. She goes back to an area that is full of radiation. It's likely she'll get cancer and die a terrible death. Meanwhile, 65,000 people who came here illegally from Mexico get to stay. How is that fair? What the heck is wrong with our country?

Yep it's sad, we send the ones who would be true contributors, instead of the ones with their palms out. It doesn't help that one of our two major political parties wants people here who will need them, instead of people who just need themselves.

How do you justify denying them due process under American refuge and asylum laws, as long as those laws are on the books?

You deny due to the fallacy of their claims. They are being told what to say, so that they are at least allowed to stay until their claims are checked out.
This is a new trick, that literally anyone from south of our borders could easily claim, since virtually every country once you get away from the tourist areas are vile dirty corrupt pig pens.

They also know that there is a sizeable percentage of the population here like you who are gullible bleeding hearts that fall for any hard luck story.

Read the paragraph above yours. THAT's how I justify it. Why do you think someone who sneaks across our border deserves more than those that come here legally or those who are denied entry? WHY? My family took in a couple who fled Hungary after the communists took over. We were living in England at the time and my father, career Air Force, couldn't get our friends into this country. They lived their lives out in Canada. How is that fair? My brother tried for 20 years to get his mother in law here from Thailand, just to visit and was denied. How is it fair for someone to sneak across our border to get to stay? It's not. It's a slap in the fact to every LEGAL immigrant in this country and much worse to those who were denied entry and didn't come here illegally.
