everywhere and nowhere
Tax breaks for out-sourcing jobs.

Lax regulation of the banking, food and oil industries.

Price supports for agriculture.

Price supports for Big Pharma.

Etc.

I could go on all night, Willow.

And which country is better than America? We are anxious to know.

'what country's better than America?' "why do you always complain about America?"

Progressivism - Populism - Tea Parties: It's really easy to sum up where I stand on them all.

To quote Robert Ingersoll:
There are many people, in all countries, who seem to enjoy individual and national decay. They love to prophesy the triumph of evil. They mistake the afternoon of their own lives for the evening of the world. To them everything has changed. Men are no longer honest or brave, and women have ceased to be beautiful. They are dyspeptic, and it gives them the greatest pleasure to say that the art of cooking has been lost. - Is Avarice Triumphant

There is nothing new about the Tea Party movement or any other nitwit movement that rises up in America. Demagogues have always hid behind the coming demise of the republic to whip up the lost, angry and frustrated among us. These hyper-patriots usually wrap themselves up in the symbols of this great republic while preaching the end of the republic.

I take it you're on the next plane/boat to Australia...

And which country is better than America? We are anxious to know.

Better or worse is really a matter of one's own perspective. I wouldn't mind living in Europe for a year or two maybe as part of a job or something. It would be a cool experience, but I would never want to stay there permanently. The U.S. is the only country I'd want to live in.

You mean that you've never been outside this country, but would be interested in seeing somewhere other than the USA, but, because you've never been anywhere else, the devil you know is better than the devil you don't, which is why you state that the only country you'd like to live in would be here.

I've been to 26 different countries, and there are SEVERAL that I would live in if given the chance. Palma and Ibiza, Spain are 2 places for starters........Portugal and Italy wouldn't be bad as well.
