Weren't ALL guns in the 18th century "ghost guns"? Was there a serial number on anything back then?

Clinton's ATF targeted a quirky (Christian) community in Waco, Texas because it was budget time and it might be an easy score. The search warrant was based on allegations that the Branch Dividians might be converting useless rusty WW2 demilled junk into functional fully automatic weapons. The ATF based it's belief on "evidence" that some Dividian members sent away for (legal) brochures about restoring junk British WW2 weapons. After the standoff and after the poison gas and the incineration of about 80 Branch Dividians there wasn't the ghost of a ghost weapon left in the rubble that would have justified the initial search warrant and the ensuing carnage but it didn't matter because the media was the propaganda arm of the Clinton administration. Nobody in the ATF was indicted or fired.

The ATF should be abolished. They serve no purpose, other than to harass law abiding citizens.

If the ATF wanted to do something useful, it would crawl up the asses of the street gangs, seize their stolen weapons, put their asses in jail and return as many of those firearms as possible to their rightful owners.

But, sense most of those gangs are black and brown people, that'll never happen.
