What are your thoughts on the Trump trading cards?

Using scripture as a business model comes at a cost ... the opposite of profit ... elderly widow women can't afford rents, so either some landlord has to take a bath or she dies of exposure in some homeless camp ... talk about landlord headaches renting to the orphans of the community ... sheesh I could tell you stories ...

God set down a Monarchy ... this democracy thingy is of Satan ... so be like God and sit back and laugh, it's just a big joke anyway ...
You make sense on what's happening but your causes and and the cure you recommend are just part of a fantasy world.

What's strange, is he doesn't own the company selling them.... So who's making the money and what is Trump's cut, I suppose, if ya care....

Or are these owners of the gig, just front men, and the money is all his, but a crooked way to hide his Trump Organization money from Letitia James?

More research is needed!

Will your kids and grandkids cherish them the way we do today?
For every Pokemon there is a Beanie Baby, Collectable plate and run of the mill baseball card that has no value
Trump was a great president and everything associated with him will eventually become highly collectable. The same for anything owned or touched by George Washington or Abraham Lincoln.
Today, even items owned by Hitler or used by the Nazi's during WWll are highly sought after by collectors willing to pay big money for them.
Things like Beanie Babies and Pokemon cards are just a fad that will never be near as valuable as items owned by famous historical personages.

The issue has already become one that is much bigger than the silly cards. Hopefully some posters will begin to understand that this is just another of his challenges to the democratic and capitalist system. Call it freedom to do as one pleases!

Screw the working class who still attempt to hold to the rules of society.

I can agree with you on that if the greatness you imagine is somehow similar to Hitler's greatness as perceived by the extreme right. Good thinking, out of the box!

Well ... no ... that was my business model ... safe affordable housing for the widows and orphans of the community ... and I had less profit because of this policy ... that I type here today is because of God's mercy and His delight that I should have a minimal retirement ... [giggle] ... at least minimal compared to other landlords (think Trump) ...

Does anyone really think the OP has read a book..ever? Much less, "every book about Trump"?

Wow...the shit some folks try to pawn off as truth here.

The NFTs are there to make money. Its the same reason he ran for President. To make money. He didn't give one shit about the national well-being much less two shits. He was an awful president and is a worse human being. And if this qualifies as "liberal squealing"...fine...whatever. It also qualifies as being 100% truthful.

Although I will agree with you that with this whole entire trading cards thing that his current priorities seem to be lining his pocket with a wad full of cash, (and it caused me to lose my respect for him) he was still a great president as he did a lot of great for our country.

He was an awful president who did very little for the nation, followed through on very few of his campaign promises, outright lied about a great many things, essentially was a no-show during a pandemic, pardoned numerous convicted felons from his own campaign, and, oh yeah, by the way ran up $8B in new debt. This goes without mentioning inciting an insurrection attempt that resulted in a mob storming the capitol building and injuring 140 cops.

See this is the difference between you and me. I simply just don't like the guy all that much anymore. You're obsessed with your hate of him at a very unhealthy level.

For one thing, I have no idea what digital cards or images are and how you can trade them. I am basically still living in the 90s or whatever.. don't keep up on technology much.

But in any case, I have mixed feelings about them.

Mostly, I just wonder if Trump ever considers what the next life is going to be like for him? I see that he has changed or appears to have changed from, say, 15 years ago when he was engaging in some pretty serious behaviors that we Catholics and many Protestants say lead people to Hell.. so I am concerned about his soul.. I mean, the trading cards may indicate he is still.. um.. shall we say, "in the world," not terribly concerned about the next world... ? Of course only God knows what's going on in anyone's heart or soul.. but anyhow...

I have read just about every book on Trump. The book by O'Reilly is more/less favorable to him, but talks about his high ambition for worldly gain and for fame (mostly in when he was younger..).. which I don't normally hold against him in light of the fact he was one of our best presidents. But again... I just wonder if he is.. shall we say, not sufficiently worried about his soul.. ?

:dunno:

It indicates Trump is a thief.

Obsessed with hate? Yep...I do hate someone who acts like garbage, talks about sexually assaulting women, claims women that questioned him during a debate were having their monthly, makes fun of handicapped people.

All of this happened, by the way, prior to his becoming a President.

So yeah...maybe my standards are just higher than yours.

I think they can be a good substitute for toilet paper. We should be shipping them to Venezuela

Yeah I’m sick of Trump and his stupid conspiracy theories

I don't believe that he's had any conspiracy theories except "everybody loves me" but either way I sure hope DeSantis decides to run in 2024. 😃

It's not his company....

He supposedly only gave them the rights to himself, for money.... basically, he prostituted his image, sold himself for moolah!

I personally don't believe he did simply that... and that alone.... there has to be more behind the curtain.... Imo, he's usually more devious and sinister with deception at its core... and simply prostituting himself for just a percentage, in a comical and demeaning way for an ex president.... such as this, seems too small a reward.... For the negative publicity.... :dunno:

I think his Trump NFTs have a limited shelf life

They have no tangible value and their only value is speculation that some other suckers will pay more for them

Future generations will look at them like Beanie Babies

What you "think" has very little effect on anything.

These are sold auctions:

$9,999.99...

2016 Donald Trump Autographed Trading Card EBAY 1/1 | eBay

trump digital trading card N F T #3752, Download Link | eBay

sorry to sound so ignorant but I don't get how something available on line (is that what is meant by "digital"?) is trade-able..

:dunno:

Each card has a separate IP address associated with it.

No idea what's at that IP address, that's all I know about them.

Boy oh boy, you're just a bundle of maturity, aren't ya!!

Why says you have to lose your sense of humor when you get older?

I'm not like some folks I know who lost theirs the day Trump was elected.
