What are your thoughts on the Trump trading cards?

For one thing, I have no idea what digital cards or images are and how you can trade them. I am basically still living in the 90s or whatever.. don't keep up on technology much.

But in any case, I have mixed feelings about them.

Mostly, I just wonder if Trump ever considers what the next life is going to be like for him? I see that he has changed or appears to have changed from, say, 15 years ago when he was engaging in some pretty serious behaviors that we Catholics and many Protestants say lead people to Hell.. so I am concerned about his soul.. I mean, the trading cards may indicate he is still.. um.. shall we say, "in the world," not terribly concerned about the next world... ? Of course only God knows what's going on in anyone's heart or soul.. but anyhow...

I have read just about every book on Trump. The book by O'Reilly is more/less favorable to him, but talks about his high ambition for worldly gain and for fame (mostly in when he was younger..).. which I don't normally hold against him in light of the fact he was one of our best presidents. But again... I just wonder if he is.. shall we say, not sufficiently worried about his soul.. ?

:dunno:
My initial reaction was it was a little silly and the more hateful left would taunt them as more evidence of his 'narcissism'. But as it turned out, as a fund raiser it was an immediate success as all the cards sold out in one day raising $4.4 million. I doubt there are any other politicians that could have accomplished that.

The more important lesson is that announcement of the cards was just a blip in a far more important policy initiative in which as President he would restore free speech and take the partisanship out of government. The malicious MSM mocked the cards and ignored the far more important and very necessary policy initiative.

I also don't believe everything the more hateful left say about the way he has lived his life. The fact that his children adore him, his ex wives have not denigrated him, and he has used his money and influence for much good and never evil is commendable. But as to the status of his soul, I think that way above my pay grade to evaluate, and it is God's prerogative to judge him on that.

And yes, if we measure presidential effectiveness by positive results for all Americans, President Trump was the best President of my lifetime.

I don't love my neighbors.

That's why I moved as far as I could get into the boonies. To get away from neighbors.
Neighbor means anyone you interact with on a regular basis. Since Trump was (is) president... I would say that suffices as a regular basis thing

I say he is too intelligent (and conservative or whatever...) to NOT ever question the issue of his soul and eternity

It just gets rather tiresome never HEARING about that kind of thing... I mean, to listen to the news, you'd think all he did all day long is robotically ... do politics.. or what have you..

My thoughts?

That Trump has figured out yet another way to scam the incredibly stupid out of their money.
If they are stupid enough to pay for something they cannot afford, they deserve it

You should read every book BY Trump ... better help for your own income statement ... folks who write ABOUT Trump are morons ... except maybe Billy O'Reilly ...
No, they are not. I think O'Reilly cares about the truth. He was never a Trump sycophant.. you know.. like the media was with Obummer

And I have read books BY him.

But I probably need to read Scripture more than anything... I have read it before.. many many times but Scirpture is something that helps you no matter how many times you read it.. Every day has its own issues, interests.. problems.. etc.. Just about every problem known to man is mentioned there. and we forget most of what we read anyhow...

That's not the meaning of the word "neighbor". Perhaps that's what it means to you.

I have never interacted with Trump and likely never will.

His soul is his own personal business.

I'm going to buy all the Trump trading cards that I can afford.
Even if I have to take a second job to get up the money for more.
He's a done tremendous helping our country.
So it only make sense to support him any way that I can. ..
Well, I can't disagree much.. but I guess I am going through a kind of evolution.. where I care more about ... non-political types of matters.. I would love to read a book on what Trump thinks/believes/practices concerning Jesus.. the only way to Heaven.. He is no spring chicken so, there's that

That is exactly the meaning of Neighbor as found in Scripture..

I know he is deeply intelligent and certainly thinks and concerns himself with many things that we would not consider political.

It's just that the more hateful left magnifies every single thing they call 'sin' and break every Biblical commandment re judgment when it comes to Donald J. Trump while shrugging off, excusing, ignoring the sins of those they choose to admire or support.

I rather think we all should take more seriously the quote attributed to Jesus and/or his teachings: "Judge not lest ye be judged also.". . ."When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.”. . "Why, then, do you judge your brother? Or why do you belittle your brother? For we will all stand before God's judgment seat.". . ."Why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but fail to notice the beam in your own eye?"

We are commanded to speak out against wrong actions, to protect those unable to protect themselves, to right wrongs, to abstain from evil. But the status of a person's soul is God's prerogative.

Sometimes Trump does things just to see the monkeys dance. This is one of those times.

Does anyone really think the OP has read a book..ever? Much less, "every book about Trump"?

Wow...the shit some folks try to pawn off as truth here.

The NFTs are there to make money. Its the same reason he ran for President. To make money. He didn't give one shit about the national well-being much less two shits. He was an awful president and is a worse human being. And if this qualifies as "liberal squealing"...fine...whatever. It also qualifies as being 100% truthful.

If anyone ever wonders how someone who has been 100% brainwashed sounds...re-read the post above.

I think his Trump NFTs have a limited shelf life

They have no tangible value and their only value is speculation that some other suckers will pay more for them

Future generations will look at them like Beanie Babies
people never thought pokemon cards or garbage pail kids cards would be worth any thing either.....

I have a large storage room full of Trumpy Bears still in their original box.
They will be worth a fortune someday in the future to collectors.
I'll either sell them for big money or pass them down to my grandkids so they can own a very valuable piece of history. ..

I don’t know..

Will your kids and grandkids cherish them the way we do today?
For every Pokemon there is a Beanie Baby, Collectable plate and run of the mill baseball card that has no value

Using scripture as a business model comes at a cost ... the opposite of profit ... elderly widow women can't afford rents, so either some landlord has to take a bath or she dies of exposure in some homeless camp ... talk about landlord headaches renting to the orphans of the community ... sheesh I could tell you stories ...

God set down a Monarchy ... this democracy thingy is of Satan ... so be like God and sit back and laugh, it's just a big joke anyway ...

In my opinion, no thoughts are necessary.

Maybe it can be a diversion from reality for those who care?
