The Gulf War in 1990 - 91 was fought ostensibly to win the independence of Kuwait. Actually, if was fought to keep the price of petroleum low.

After 9/11 the United States invaded Afghanistan to capture Osama bin Laden. The United States invaded Iraq because President Bush II thought Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, but none were found.

The present war against Iran is being fought to keep Iran from developing nuclear weapons.

In none of these war did American servicemen fight for Israel.
