What are young Israelis taught about Jesus?

They are allowed to make up their own minds.

You can't make up your own mind unless you've been given some knowledge. They have.

Years ago, I read a book about Jesus written by a Jew. He described Jesus as "a Yiddish Mensch."

It must be clear that you do not know what the word "Mensch" means. If you knew you wouldn't use it in this context.
