What are you listening to?

John Bonham drummer Led Zeppelin top Rock drummer.

I couldn’t pick one. This one showcases him a bit more. At 3;20

Though Alex is on my top list. He makes the drums sing.

From the song. Don’t get me started on Van Halen.

AC/DC they have had several drummers over the years, the ones i know best are Phil Rudd and Chris Slade, here is Chris playing on thunderstruck.

Dear America, "Every generation Blames the one before, And all of their frustrations Come beating on your door..."

Ahh, "(think about it boy, still well, well, well) It takes a fool to learn That love don't love no one (no one)

😑

D-Man

Jantje_Smit hey thank you so much for posting that video clip:thankusmile: i have NEVER seen that clip before.i seen the one they showed on mtv when the movie first came out and i hated that clip but this one is REALLY good.hard to believe i have never seen it before.duran duran always makes me happy when they put on their shows because when they sing that song they always show roger moors face and he is MY favorite james bond, others dont like them but thats their loss.he was EXCELLENT in his line delivery as Bond.

have you heard this extended version of wild boys? its pretty awesome. have you heard it The Duke ?

Chris is a powerhouse. He gives the song more depth than Rudd. AC/DC as half time Super Bowl entertainment would’ve brought down the house vs bunny.

Why do I get the feeling you are in some way or form connected to the music industry? You sound more than a fan. lol

Give us your opinion Duke! You are so good at it.

There are those that think any AC/DC post Bon Scott is heresy.
Omy, did they have a see-through stage floor and filmed Angus from underneath?
That's quite something.
Idk what, but something.

Bon is my favorite! That stage is awesome. I was looking at his thighs to see if that dance made them stronger. Lol

I have an incoming call. Catch ya after.

At giving my opinion, yes. Angus Young could phrase like as good as it gets.
He never hit a sour note. Oh man, he could hit it, boy!
I know nothing about AC/DC drummers.
I like it all. I remember my PR friend used to blast this out his jacked-up Bug
with the Hi-Fi System:

Yes, this is the version, too.
It was clearly heard for about 2 blocks. Crystal Clear.

Bon was the real deal but after his death Brian Johnson came in from a Band called Geordie.
Here's where I'm at with that:
The Bon Scott purists do have a valid point, but I like it all.
It's all good, but things changed after Bon died somewhat.
Some days I don't listen to any post Bon Scott AC/DC, some days I do.

15th post
You don't wanna get me rollin' like on a weekend day, me and my buddy had a thing.
On the weekend one day or another we'd get a case of beer, pick a band for the day, and some meat, and cook, and his wife would make sides and that band would play all day.
It was a band for the day and cooking deal. Good times.

He had quite a library of tapes and CDs
