Working.Whether you're in official lockdown or are home in self quarantine...……...what are you doing to pass the time??? Besides wasting it on message boards? Anything actually productive???
Hopefully we can share a few ideas to keep us busy, beyond our normal daily routine.
Here I've been trying to prep the garden as weather allows and/or get some seeds started, and now wondering if I should start my spring cleaning or some cooking projects.
Whatcha got goin on????
Getting gardens ready too. Ordered a small greenhouse to get a start on seeds, got to put fabric down, bark, 4x4 and 2x4 frame to screw to and stake to ground.
Reading alot too. 2-3 hrs a day.
Cooking, baking.

I've already planted some cold weather stuff, though I may have been a little early and may have to replant a lot of it. I hope not cause I hate to have wasted the seed. We'll see.
Yesterday & earlier today, have been canning and now I'm thinking of making some bread.
And somewhere in the mix been keeping an eye on and/or starting tomato & pepper seeds in the house......just little projects to fill the time.

I used to start all mine in flats on origami racks in a sunny window. Worked very well too but then had to acclimate them a couple days outside. Some would be a bit spindly or weak. Hoping the greenhouse does both, start and aclimate.
I used to make sourdough quite frequent. Had a starter way over 100 years old. I killed it![]()
Thinking about getting some yardbirds.

Oh, darn it. I can't get on youtube today. Those words your post remind me of a song we did a routine to at half time, for our fightin' Mustang football team when I was a "Vaquera" at Aldine High School in the early sixties (the band was our music, but they did pop songs, too, just for us to entertain the home team.....)Sitting on the front porch in my rocking chair watching the traffic go by.....
