What are you doing right now, this very moment?

I'm eating a piece of cake from my grand daughters baby shower yesterday.

Making my own homemade coffee liquor that blows store bought Kahlua, etc., out of the water.

Wishing my thumb would stop hurting so I could crochet little gifts for friends without pain. Today I had to postpone crocheting after doing half a row and take a long break. It's hard to finish something with 30 breaks in 2 days. :(

Oh, well, might as well keep reading. Ya'll have a good time. At least I can type fast with no pain-filled repercussions.

I'm currently suffering from some repetitive strain injury from an activity that you might be able to relate to -- hand-knitting a miniature blanket about 2.5 by 4 inches.

Pigs feet, banana peels, or suture pads?
Chicken breast.

Edit -- I'm going out in a few to pick up some chicken feet. I want to try to simulate an injury I suffered where I nearly severed the extensor tendon on my left index finger.

Couldn't get the ER doc to keep video of the procedure, DANG!

I sent birthday cake leftovers to my caregiver's home for her 5 kids desserts. There'll be another birthday cake in a couple of days.

I fell on downtown steps in a driving rainstorm, a couple of months ago, and it should be getting better by now. Guess I could put a little wrap around my left hand with athletic bandages. Things take longer to heal when you're older. At least I got my singing voice back on Sunday after missing a whole year of karaoke and singing in the choir. It may never ring perfect again, but it rang on tune and timing when we sang 3 hymns at church. I couldn't believe it, but I'm real happy about the voice comeback after last winter's throat infection. I never got covid, but that doesn't stop colds and allergies from doing their damages. the thumb'll probably be better in a few weeks.

I sure wish I could eat some birthday cake.

I'd accept the death penalty just for the privilege of getting to eat whatever I wanted, knowing that I would not be suffering the next day.

Well you'll still be able to use your right index finger so all is not lost.

I just put two loaves of date nut bread into the oven for the grandkids. Should be done in about an hour.

I should try knitting, and you should try crocheting. Different parts can allow different activities. My thumb has to hold the thread in place, but when you knit, your left hand forefinger gets a workout. I bought a slew of knitting needles on ebay last year, but was already into crocheting, and I couldn't stop, even for the thumb injury in that late spring deluge. I'm sorry your forefinger is bothering your knitting. It's great to be doing something that results in something nice for somebody else, friend or fundraising bazaar. Hope you heal soon. That reminds me, I ran out of blue Emu ointment just before my fall. I really need to put that on a note and attach it to the sun visor in the truck for next time I'm out and about. You might try that on your finger. I'm going out and getting some for this thumb. How could I forget it? Duh, and it works for all kinds of aches, too. I'm outta here! Think I'm going to get the squirt-out lotion, too. Either one of these really resolves annoying chronic issues with bone, muscle, and sinew stuff. :huddle:

I just read an article that people were losing 9 pounds a week by guzzling down a teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil from Italy. They say you can eat whatever you like, but it does something to your cells that makes weight loss possible and gaining weight impossible. Go figger!

Seems to me drinking oil would clean you out.
