Can someone please tell me how to grab a photo and use it for avatar?

Sure, easy peasy......but first you have to pass a grammar test.....

Usually you can just find an image you like and grab the URL, then paste that directly into the avatar settings

Don't use an avatar, they speak too loudly for who you are.

Anyway

It might be best to find a JPEG / JPG since many new internet images are Google webp and might not work unless the forum software is very recent.

Go to your profile settings where you can add an avatar.
You have the choice of uploading an avatar or linking to one on the internet.

But I went to my Profile and got lost.. Plus some photos I like are alongside other photos so I wonder if the IP is going to end up in me pasting several images or something..

Works fine, as he said right out of pictures saved on your PC.

i did that but this box comes up with "Browser" and some other word alongside that..

I clicked it and tried to get into my flashdrive where there's a photo saved but... again... i got lost..

Right click on your screen name at the top of the page that will take to your profile page... click on your existing avatar and see it will say Edit... right click and a pop up will appear and it will allow you to select a picture from your files on your computer...
If you want a pic from the web you will have to save it first in your file or documents....
