Only difference is in number of followers.
All religions started as cults.
Jesus was a cult leader had 12 main followers.
The religion loosely based on him did not start till after his death.
He is no cult leader, my friend. He is the King of kings, the Lord of lords, and He loves you.
Yes, I imagine you may think I'm a nutter/crazy, haha... But even God's Word says that some of you would say we are out of our minds or beside ourselves.
That's all I gotta say about that!

Since we're quoting God Himself, let's see what kind of bloody God the Jeebus-monkeys worship
January Bible Quotes
"Make ready to slaughter his sons for the guilt of their fathers; Lest they rise and possess the earth, and fill the breadth of the world with tyrants." (Isaiah 14:21 NAB)
Now let's hear from the xtians about how "good" it was that their God kills people for what their parents do.

(and they wonder why the world thinks they're sick)
I will try to answer, but will you lend an ear? Take me serious? Better yet, why not ask God yourself for the answers? It is always better to go direct to the source, anyhow. What I mean is, perhaps you don't believe in God, but for a moment say you are wrong. What is the harm to honestly ask Him, "God, if you are there, will you please show me the truth? Help with these hard questions?"
Yes, what you are talking about is in the Bible. But the "understanding" of it goes a long way. "Yielding" to it, goes a long way. We can say, ok, I may not understand why God does some things as He does, but I yield to Him, my Lord, my Creator.
Or, we can do what Satan did and "think" we know better than Him, the very one who created us.
More than that, you are missing the whole point, the whole picture, the entire plan. God already had a plan. It was already planned that Jesus Christ was to die for our sins. Back then, how things happened were part of His plan, a bigger picture.
Please remember the
New Covenant - and Jesus Christ is the mediator of the New Covenant - He also fulfilled the "law". And love covers a multitude of sins.
Jeremiah 31
31 “The days are coming,” declares the LORD,
“when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel
and with the people of Judah.
32 It will not be like the covenant
I made with their ancestors
when I took them by the hand
to lead them out of Egypt,
because they broke my covenant,
though I was a husband to them,”
declares the LORD.
33 “This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel
after that time,” declares the LORD.
“I will put my law in their minds
and write it on their hearts.
I will be their God,
and they will be my people.
34 No longer will they teach their neighbor,
or say to one another, ‘Know the LORD,’
because they will all know me,
from the least of them to the greatest,”
declares the LORD.
“For I will forgive their wickedness
and will remember their sins no more.”
Hebrews 12:23 to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the Judge of all, to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, 24 to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.
Again, you can yourself ask any question to the Lord. If you are being honest and truly seeking Him, be ready for an answer. He is God, He knows when we truly seek Him. The answer may not be how you expect. However, He promises that when we seek HIM, we WILL find Him if we seek Him with all our heart and soul.
But hey, don't even believe me...Feel free to ask Him yourself.
Deutoronomy4:29 But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you seek him with all your heart and with all your soul.

1 Peter 4:8 Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
