I end to agree with you..money changes everything...but after Roger left the band..I think they found their way out of the wilderness and have put out some damn good music..if not all that commercial.Just about any on their Meddle album ... I though Dark Side and Wish You were Here started down the commercialism route ... The Wall was complete trash ... the band gave up their identity and just focused on money ...
Dogs ...

My all time favorite is Wish You Were Here. I can't think of any Floyd song I don't like.
Laser Floyd was a standard here in the 70s and 80s. Smoke some pot, go lay on the floor in the Science Center and enjoy Laser Floyd. Good times.
I've had the honor of working with Roger Waters many times. The first being in 2000.
He performed that song. He had smoke all around on the floor of the stage during that song. That song has serious personal meaning to me, I was crying when I took the shots.
Funny thing, those shots I took when I was crying are the ones that sell most from that job.
The last time I worked with Mr. Waters was the second time he performed The Wall here.
We started an interesting working relationship that first show in 2000.
He's a pure joy and honor to work with.
None. I dont like them.
It might be my age. Floyd were a bunch of public school educated hippies. I could not relate to anything they were saying. Punk swept them all into the bin and that music registered with me , with my everyday life and my beliefs.None. I dont like them.
Seriously here, how can anyone not like Pink Floyd?
How do you feel about The Beatles and Led Zeppelin and Eric Clapton?

I like the Beatles, Kinks, Stones, Small Faces, dont mind Clapton but you can keep Led Zepp and all those overblown stadium groups.
My favourite group ever is The Beat and then The Jam. I like The Smiths, REM, Neil Young. I like loads of stuff but If you cant dance or cry to it then it has no point.
Floyd is that. Pointless.
