My favorites are - 1) Scenes from an Italian Restaurant 2) You May Be Right 3) Piano Man 4) Movin' Out (Anthony's Song), and 5) The Longest Time

His early stuff was best. He had a slightly angry edge to his lyrics. I can't tell you how many of his shows I've been to...

Yep, I agree. I believe he pretty much lost his ability to record quality songs and albums after about 1983 or so. I saw him in concert in 1978 and 1979, in Phoenix, Arizona. He was fantastic.

I enjoyed all of Joel’s early songs. After reading “Slash’s” biography (Guns n Roses) I lost my liking for the man, he had musical talent back then, but his addiction to Heroin as written by Slash puts him down there with the other wasted talents of the world I’m afraid!

Another great thread. Keep’em coming.

Here's something I'd bet Joel would like to lost... forever...

This is before, and better than, Attila, 1967 - 1969:

Nobody likes “Uptown Girl“?

12 posts, 20 hits by Joel and nobody said a word about it.
