We've moved to the theater of the absurd.

Please prove to me she worked for EPA while Biden was prez. The document you posted referred to 2018.

EPA is attempting to unravel a landmark scientific finding that underpins its climate change regulations.

Administrator Lee Zeldin urged the White House last week in an undisclosed recommendation to let EPA challenge the 2009 endangerment finding, according to three people who were granted anonymity because they weren’t authorized to discuss the decision. The finding gave the agency its authority to regulate greenhouse gases based on the threat they pose to public health or welfare.

Repeat after me. Greenhouse gases don't cause climate change, formaldehyde is perfectly safe, Jan. 6 was a lovefest........

Giving me 50% of your money, I promise I'll save your children from CO2.

The Trump administration and Republicans in Congress are preparing an unusual legislative maneuver in an effort to eliminate one of the country’s most ambitious climate policies, an order that was designed to shift the auto industry toward electric cars.

They plan to vote to overturn a California ban on the sale of new gasoline-powered cars in that state by 2035. To do it, they intend to use the Congressional Review Act, a 1996 law that permits lawmakers to reverse recently-adopted regulations with a simple majority vote.

But the California ban is not a federal regulation, it’s a different animal. It’s the result of a waiver that was granted by the Biden administration under the 1970 Clean Air Act, something that has been done more than a hundred times over the years by administrations of both parties. And it is not subject to congressional review, according to a 2023 decision by the Government Accountability Office.

Environmental groups and California officials say the Republican plan to try to kill the waiver with a congressional vote would be illegal.

There is no illegal act that trump doesn't like.
what's illegal about it? They can simply lift the Xiden admin waiver. What's preventing him from doing that?

Moreover, I thought Trump was going to be grifting Musk, wouldn't this hurt Musk business??

Libs already brought us insane theatre when they couldn't figure out what a woman was and cheering kids cutting off body parts to pretend they were something that they weren't. Naw buddy, the absurd is ALL you.
All fake news

She Lobbied for a Carcinogen. Now She’s at the E.P.A., Approving New Chemicals.

Formaldehyde, the chemical of choice for undertakers and embalmers, is also used in products like furniture and clothes. But it can also cause cancer and severe respiratory problems. So, in 2021, the Environmental Protection Agency began a new effort to regulate it.

The chemicals industry fought back with an intensity that astonished even seasoned agency officials. Its campaign was led by Lynn Dekleva, then a lobbyist at the American Chemistry Council, an industry group that spends millions of dollars on government lobbying.

Dr. Dekleva is now at the E.P.A. in a crucial job: She runs an office that has the authority to approve new chemicals for use. Earlier she spent 32 years at Dupont, the chemical maker, before joining the E.P.A. in the first Trump administration.

Since these guys obviously didn't prepare the new admin for success during the leadup to trump 2.0 it would appear they spent a lot of time getting ready to gaslight the country.
So Dr. Lynn Dekleva, who's worked as a Science Adivsor at the EPA, DuPont, been on the American Chemicial Advisory Board, a PHD, and an environmental engineer with degrees in environmental microbiology, medical technology, and biology. Isn't qualified to work for the EPA in regulatng new chemcials...gotcha

The revolving door prevails. The swamp expands. It's just like when Baucus put Liz Fowler in charge of writing ACA.

Wasting trillions on less reliable green energy isn't science either.
I eagerly await your proof of trillions being wasted. The science tells us shifting to renewable energy sources is essential so the planet doesn't eventually become uninhabitable for 100's of millions of people.

Germany and the UK have wasted hundreds of billions. And what did it get them?
I mean besides higher prices and unreliable energy.

The science tells us shifting to renewable energy sources is essential

Bullshit.

The new ‘administration’ isn’t interested in success.

It’s interested in spreading chaos and dysfunction, it’s interested in the worst government possible – where Dekleva and her ilk fit right in.

Oh we are having lots of success, facediaper.
When are you moving?

Ok I just have a question. Obviously I don't really know how things work in your country, but shouldn't there be some kind of rules, or guideline in place, for them to choose a minister or whatever you guys call it? I mean obviously this lady they chose was bad, but if there had been some kind of guideline, maybe it would have gone to a different, and more qualified person? It doesn't sound right to me that they can appoint anybody just like that.
