How do investors feel about their assets possibly being managed by an under-skilled workforce?

In the old days, we called such statements "motivation".
Now they're just an excuse to shame and cancel the messenger.

Well, he could have pointed out that "Diversity is the enemy of excellence."

Which is demonstrably true.

I wonder if anyone has the cojones to publish the number of Blacks who have meaningful college degrees (no "Ethnic Studies" or "Communications"). Place that number alongside the number of "everyone else" with comparable credentials, and the reason why serious employers have difficulty finding qualified Blacks. There simply are not enough of them to fill the "need."

Which is what the fukker said, eh?

There’s a lot of blame to go around for the fact many blacks fail to succeed in our society. The black community has enormous societal problems including poverty, fatherless children, drugs, crime, gangs, etc. The government schools are a big part of the problem. The schools suck. Many blacks graduate high school unable to read or write. How could they ever find a decent job under these terrible conditions?

Maybe all the talent is working on Wallstreet where the pay is better?

Then why are Liberals crying for them?

WellsFargo isn't the only bank in town. Why not claim they can't find talent because they don't pay enough?

Why are you asking me when you already answered the question?
Now go to Wall Street and tell be how many Black people arrive in the morning and leave in the evening?
Then you'll know the talent isn't there.

Ok. Then we have to ask why it isn't there?

We both know the answer and people such as yourself don't want to hear it.

lol. That is not an answer. And, I resort to fewer fallacies than You, which means I can handle the sublime Truth (value) discoverable through argumentation, Better than You.

In other words, dumbing down the US is your option.
You are boring.

LOL, this under-skilled workforce?

"Wells Fargo account fraud scandal
Wells Fargo Bank.svg
The Wells Fargo account fraud scandal is an ongoing[when?] controversy brought about by the creation of millions of fraudulent savings and checking accounts on behalf of Wells Fargo clients without their consent. News of the fraud became widely known in late 2016 after various regulatory bodies, including the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), fined the company a combined US$185 million as a result of the illegal activity. The company faces additional civil and criminal suits reaching an estimated $2.7 billion by the end of 2018.[1]
Wells Fargo clients began to notice the fraud after being charged unanticipated fees and receiving unexpected credit or debit cards or lines of credit. Initial reports blamed individual Wells Fargo branch workers and managers for the problem, as well as sales incentives associated with selling multiple "solutions" or financial products. This blame was later shifted to a top-down pressure from higher-level management to open as many accounts as possible through cross-selling.
The bank took relatively few risks in the years leading up to the financial crisis of 2007–2008, which led to an image of stability on Wall Street and in the financial world. The bank's stable reputation was tarnished by the widespread fraud, the subsequent coverage, and the revelation of other fraudulent practices employed by the company. The controversy resulted in the resignation of CEO John Stumpf, an investigation into the bank led by U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren, a number of settlements between Wells Fargo and various parties, and pledges from new management to reform the bank."

The notion that there are not enough qualified minority candidates is a lie – not a ‘fact’; as racist and bigoted as it is wrong.

An apology was more than warranted.

‘“Perhaps it’s the CEO of Wells Fargo who lacks the talent to recruit Black workers,” U.S. Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said in a tweet.’ ibid

Indeed.

Oh I get it. Just because there are white people in certain areas where there are few if any black people (because there is nothing there that appeals to them) they stupidly believe that means that there are no black people ANYWHERE who are qualified to work at a financial institution of the "caliber" (snicker) of Wells Fargo. No professional and highly qualified black people working ANYWHERE in finance or as fraud investigators, auditors, etc with advanced degrees huh?

So where does the ignorance lie?

Imagine the NBA being forced to incorporate more white and Latino players to better diversify.

the talent level in the league would drop.

the same thing is true with Wells Fargo by trying to diversify based on race.

Hire the best person for the job period. Not based on what race they are. Hiring someone based on race is racist.
