Wow. Speechless. 🤷‍♀️
Well not speechless not surprised one iota.

I bet a fly on the wall heard the execs telling Jimmy "go easy on Trump he is angry you are roasting him"

I never watched Jimmy, if he returns I am going to make it a point to watch him. :laughing0301:

thoughts and prayers this one works out

Jimmy Kimmel and Disney are in talks to put his late-night show back on the air, according to a report.

The comedian’s businesses and legal representatives are in deep discussions with Disney and ABC, trying to hammer out a compromise that would allow “Jimmy Kimmel Live” to resume its 23rd season, insiders told Vanity Fair.

Whether the sparring parties are close to any resolution is unknown, leaving Kimmel and his show in limbo following offensive comments he made this week about the slaughter of Charlie Kirk.

You bet Kimmel is trying to walk back and keep his deal.

Was Sinclair Broadcasting in on the "negotiations"?
All of these lefties howling at the moon over Kimmel's poorly performing show is comical. The no-talent idiot has been losing money and viewers on that show. The morons don't stop and wonder, why, pray tell, wasn't "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" canceled? Simple, its making money and the ratings are acceptable. SMH.

I suspect Kimmel's reaching out was "please take me back!!
do not suspect please :auiqs.jpg:

Jimmy is a money maker. 75M a year in revenue :omg:

Well, he has lost almost a million viewers since Jan. 1.95 million down to 1.1 million. He has had ONE right leaning guest in the last 4 years and that guest had to agree to humiliate himself. 97% of his jokes and gags are about conservatives.

And remember, he told viewers if they voted for Trump, don't bother watching. Looks like they listened.

Yea, that's it, that's the ticket.

I've noticed this is common to all 3 of the late night talk shows. I've made it a policy that I'll watch Fallon until his first remark disparaging Trump. I haven't made it more than five minutes into one of his shows in years. Broken records. They need to branch out and get more material. They are "influencing" themselves right off of the air.

The "solution" is ******* obvious. Kimmel must read a statement more or less as follows:

"A few weeks ago I expressed an opinion about the likely motivation and political stance of the person who killed Charlie Kirk. That opinion was offensive to a lot of people, and it was also probably wrong. I should not have expressed that opinion at that time, and to those who were offended, I apologize. I reserve my Constitutional right to mock and/or criticize the President and any other political figure that I want to mock or criticize. They will just have to deal with it."

Done. Crisis averted. Back on the air.

How hard is that?

Yes it is.

Show business is just that- business.

Do something to cause your boss to lose money and... there ya go.

Nobody had a BBQ with Charlie's remains, so he wasn't slaughtered.
