The reviews of Wednesday were mixed with serious comparisons to the CW. If it gets compared to the CW too much that's a killer. If Wednesday can do more story than gay romance, it should do well and lose the CW hex.

I kind of feel both sides could throw the incorrect version of the term "woke" at each other.

You're "woke" because she should be white
You're "woke" because you can't deal with with someone being Mexican.
