Yes, there is one black Magus in at least one of our creches at church.

We have a small one in our parish hall, in the basement of the church, and there is one black Magus.

We haven't placed the larger one on the altar yet, so I can't say about that one.

I asked, and someone said we do have the Magi in the larger creche, about half of life size, outside, in front of the church, but they are not out yet.

Frankly near death experiencers who report meeting Rabbi Yeshua - Jesus in His resurrected body report that he is very dark brown, and appears to be Middle Eastern or from India.

Oh, I realized we finally got all the Magi added to the three creches, at my church, and I forgot to look and see how many black kings we have. I'll try to remember tomorrow.

Yes! All three of the creches at my church have one black Magus.

I also went to a very special chapel today, where they have Perpetual Adoration -- great place to go when you need Jesus' company!

They have an incredible creche that covers about ten feet across one side of their Sanctuary, and YES! They have a black Magus. I wish I had had my camera with me. It was so beautiful! The Sisters of Perpetual Adoration do such an awe-inspiring job of decorating the Sanctuary in their chapel every Christmas. I love going there for Adoration and prayer.

I'd guess the black Magus might have come from Egypt. I've known many Egyptians and many were white and some were black and plenty in between.
