Zone1 We need to Return to 1940's Values on Sex Outside Marriage. Desperately.

Not quite. Do you know how birth control is presented in schools? Is it presented as options available to married couples? Or, is it presented as anyone who wants to have sex without a pregnancy occurring?
Common sense

Quote me the text where that is done. I was a teacher. If it is not written, it is not taught without peril of being held accountable for the error. You have no clue as to what you are saying. You are making a gross assumption on how things are taught which you could not possibly know unless you were the student.
I, too, am a teacher. I know the program, what is taught and what is avoided. What level did you teach?

In America, we know what a decent and great man President Trump is. True to his promises, helping to make the country and the world great again. I think I speak for the left and the right in the country when I say, "President Trump is our guy, and foreign people best not say anything negative"

Trump is NONE of those things. He is an angry, vindictive man who has brought death and destruction to everything he touches. Trump is a serial rapist, who likes to pick on women half his size.

You may have been gullible enough to have voted for him once. But you have no excuse for having voting for him more than once.

You don't speak for ANYONE but yourself in any country, and you certainly have no right to tell anyone what they can do or say about anything.

Most religions view sex outside marriage is bad. Why would we choose the atheist option instead?

No they do not. YOU'RE obsessed with sex outside of marriage. As a friend used to say "God would not have issued the equipment if he didn't mean for us to use it'.

Most religions view liars and criminals to be immoral. Honesty matters. You've proven yourself to be completely dishonest.

You don't get laid much, I'm sure.

I raised three kids and every one of them took sex ed classes in school. I also know exactly how it was taught because they all attended schools where I taught or in the same district. It did not harm them as you believe it does.
Sigh. Same here. I think you must have be misunderstanding some of my points. I don't where you came up with the idea where I think the program does harm to anyone.

Common sense
I agree. Nor am I saying that mention of birth control should be avoided (as 'mention' is about as far as it goes, just that abstinence should be given a mention as well, even though I would agree that 'abstinence' is a Captain Obvious mention.

Children are experimenting with sex at that age.
Abstinence should be stressed but they need an understanding of how birth control works

When young children experiment with "playing doctor" do we just shrug our shoulders over them and say, Oh well? No one is reticent about explaining to the children playing doctor is never a good choice. Our teens are intelligent people--and very inexperienced. As I mentioned before, Theology of the Body for Teens is an excellent avenue as is explaining why sexual abstinence until marriage has been recommended throughout society since even ancient times. I am not saying Theology of the Body for Teens should be taught in public schools, but just like the mention of birth control, mention of it for those who might be interested is not out of line.

You are alluding to your belief that knowledge will make them more susceptible to having sex at a younger age and winding up getting pregnant or fathering a child. What part am I missing?

You just destroyed every argument you made thus far without realizing it.

That is not my belief, so obviously I am not alluding to it.

Sex before marriage and cohabitation protects couples from making the serious mistake of entering into a marriage with someone you are incompatible with.

A series of dates does not reveal what you need to know about your potential partner.
Living with that person does

In this case, the Bible is wrong
Fools' logic. Disproven over and over. You might as well say you disagree with gravity. God's laws just ARE. A simpleton goes against them.
