That's not a answer , I asked why you are arguing against what I said, the point is you have no clue what I said. For instance I've said all along that private company's only administer medicare and medicaid. That's what you are arguing about I guess. Again, if you want to learn about this, the info is out there. The insurance companies till perform the same "service" and get paid for it. In fact, they make more money from MACs than they do in the private market, which is no surprise. Government colluding with private business nearly always results in a windfall for business.

I am shut out of Obamacare completely because the state wants me off their Apple Health program, when Medicare became available for me, in fact they, BEHIND my back, took me off Apple Health, put me on Medicare without my knowledge. I didn't do anything to make this happen, it just BOOM happened, I was surprised!

When you go to the hospital and file a Medicare claim, that claim is not going directly to HHS. Medicare and Medicaid claims are not processed by HHS directly.

Instead it is going to a private for-profit company, that is processing that claim for Medicare.

There are 22 Million people enrolled in Medicare. HHS only has 80,000 employees. That may seem like a ton, but when you divide it by all the different things HHS covers, only a fraction of those 80 thousand are involved in Medicare, and that's far too few to process the claims of 22 Million people.

Yes, you have to have Part A and B to purchase a Medicare Advantage plan and either Part A or B to purchase a Part D drug plan.

Medicare (CMS) repeatedly states in the handbook not to allow outside groups tell you how to use the program, only CMS has that authority. That is why they send a yearly handbook, have all medicate members have an account with CMS, encourage members to ask them questions about any part of the Medicare program with CMS.

I already know Medicare sucks, but it is all I can use at age 60. I am shut out of Obamacare completely because the state wants me off their Apple Health program, when Medicare became available for me, in fact they, BEHIND my back, took me off Apple Health, put me on Medicare without my knowledge. I get these Medicare cards out of the blue in the mail about the same time Apple Health told me I am no longer in their program. I didn't do anything to make this happen, it just BOOM happened, I was surprised!

We used to do that. Insurance companies don’t want to insure old people and they were dying everywhere for things like the common cold. The life expectancy for 65 year olds went from 73 before to 84 the decades following. We have added 10 years Of life to retirees around the introduction of Medicare.

Time to put your thinking cap on. Medicare is huge for example and universal among +65's and $11,000 per head. Now do you see that the USA does not do universal cheaply!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
