we need to repeal Obamacare and replace it with Medicare For All, my friends

We should and we do have constitutional limits on our government , that is defined by the courts not you or some redneck bubba from the hate party, by the way not me either.

The Constitution is already defined. That was the point behind writing it down. The Court merely applies that definition.

The reason I asked about Constitutional limits on government is because many liberals get defensive and angry at any suggestion that government should be limited. They tend to think that democracy should always carry the day, despite the Constitution. Glad to hear you're not like that.
Obviously, you made that up. The US pays more per person for HC then anyother free nation in the world.
Yes I just said USA pays 4 times more than it should thanks to govt involvement. We need to shift to capitalism wherein there is competition to bring price down and quality up. Are you still confused???
This is the top of the stupid list for the day.
Yes yours was. Before Medicare and Medicaid, the elderly died horribly. So yes, if all you want to do is insure healthy people by private insurance, it’s cheaper to let 10s of thousands die. Obamacare and Medicare are both using private insurance which has to profitize. Plus, gov. Paid insurance is not allowed to negotiate. The gop has insured that their donors get their cuts. So it’s still expensive because even Medicare is not all public funded....only 80%. Other nations don’t have a Republican Party of the stupid.
You don't seem to understand the most basic thing. Socialism (monopoly& bureaucracy) impoverishes countries. This is why 60 million slowly starved to death in USSR and Red China. Ever heard of East /West Germany, Cuba/Florida? Socialism in cars and health would make them very expensive until nobody could afford them. This is what Biden/ AOC/ Sanders/ Warren want for all of America. Now do you understand? Notice the way a conservative is made to feel like a kindergarten teacher?
oh yah.
one in eight people in the US live in poverty. In more socialistic Sweden, it’s 1 in 20.
its the same with other democratic Socialist countries ...less poverty.
Less poverty with a lower standard of living because they have no middle class.

It does not. Medicare is administered through private profit-making insurance companies. It is very profitable for private insurance companies to process medicare claims, because if it wasn't, they would not do it, and then Medicare would cease to function.

I USE Medicare, used it several times, there has been NO connection private insurance companies in my bills, yes I actually pay some of the bills I get. I have been DROPPED by a Doctor because Medicare doesn't pay enough for him to stay in business, therefore he has to stop accepting Medicare. I have found a few other doctors NOT accepting Medicare, either, in my search for a new Doctor.

this country has to be turned around 100%.
And Democrats would do it 100% with socialism, open borders, defunded police, hispanic nationalism, free health care and education for entire world, empty prisons, 16 years old voters, a packed Supreme Court and Senate, plus higher business taxes to drive more jobs offshore.
The ultimate stupidity on these boards is the hate party's charge of everyone these pigs don't agree with being socialist or communist, problem is there is no socialism in this country, nor is there any communism in this country. the only way the brain dead can make it so is by defining what socialism and communism is. themselves but it already has a definition and if you look it up your will find out how stupid these these gum drops are in their magat hats
Actually Bernie Sanders and AOC (all out crazy) are openly self described socialists. What planet have you been living on anyway?

That's what I used to think:
But, if coverage is denied unfairly… don’t blame the government. It’s probably not “Medicare” that made the decision; it’s most likely a private insurance company that’s paid by Medicare to make coverage decisions.

The problem with Medicare for all, is that Medicare does not pay the full cost of health care.

The irony of Medicare for All is that gullible progressives think it will remove insurance company profits from the equation. Medicare does the opposite. A lot of people mistakenly think of Medicare as government run insurance. It's not. Medicare farms out insurance to the same companies that you're dealing with now. The insurance is not farmed out, just the administration. They have no incentive to cut costs.

Well, no, they do. They bid on the contract and their profits depend on coming in under budget. They have exactly as much incentive to deny claims via Medicare as they do with the group insurance policies. Again, the only difference between Medicare, and employer provided health insurance is that the government is paying for it rather than your employer.

But don't take my word for it. Google "Medicare Administrative Contractors".

Sorry.

Your link provided ZERO factual support of its claims........., would have helped a lot if they show hard evidence of what they claim, but they don't.

Medicare (CMS) repeatedly states in the handbook not to allow outside groups tell you how to use the program, only CMS has that authority. That is why they send a yearly handbook, have all medicate members have an account with CMS, encourage members to ask them questions about any part of the Medicare program with CMS.

I'm not going to argue with you about it. Because I don't know for certain either way.

But what I absolutely do know for certain, is that how government actually works, and how government claims to work, are very different.

Go read some of Thomas Sowell's books, where he describes how government actually worked, when he himself worked for the government.

All the hand books, and all the reports, and all the laws, and all the statements about "this is how government operates!"... it is all lies.

They can write anything in that booklet, and it may not be anything even close to how government actually functions.

Again, I don't know. I am not saying that you are wrong.

What I am saying is that you should not ever believe that because it says such-and-such in a book the government gave you, means that is how the government actually works.

Governments lie constantly. CONSTANTLY.

We just had a guy from the government, say directly and openly, that he told everyone that you did not need a mask, because he wanted to make sure that hospital staff had masks.

He lied openly and directly, and that lie was repeated and published all of the nation.

And you are telling me, that you know for a fact how government works, because government gave you a booklet?

No, don't be foolish. See if an insurance company lies, you can sue the crap out of them in court. When government lies.... well look at Franklin Raines from Fannie Mae, that lied and fabricated numbers. Nothing happen to him, and he was in contact with the Obama administration after he was caught lying and fabricating numbers.

Government lies constantly. Don't trust little booklets that say "this is how government works". Government can tell you anything. Doesn't mean diddly jack.

Sigh,

I already know Medicare sucks, but it is all I can use at age 60. I am shut out of Obamacare completely because the state wants me off their Apple Health program, when Medicare became available for me, in fact they, BEHIND my back, took me off Apple Health, put me on Medicare without my knowledge. I get these Medicare cards out of the blue in the mail about the same time Apple Health told me I am no longer in their program. I didn't do anything to make this happen, it just BOOM happened, I was surprised!

Never did I say Medicare is great or that it is what everybody should have.

I can't completely vouch for everything in the CMS booklet, but is it the OFFICIAL handbook I have to use.

At 2.5% over head not six times that amount.

Obamacare was an enormous on what there was before...which was nothing. but Medicare For All would be an enormous improvement on Obamacare, my friends!

Why would I want my taxes raised to care for illegals and deadbeats?
That’s crap. Ever since Reagan starting cutting taxes with the fed, local state and sales taxes rose. You still need your roads maintained and schools. Overall tax buyers never goes down. It’s a fallacy the gop uses this ploy to prop up their trickle down which dries up long before it gets to the bottom. That’s why the US is so high in the world in poverty rate.

That’s crap. Your private insurance dropped you. Medicare was the only one to pick you up. Medicare service is much better with lower overhead. You can go anywhere in the country and take your Medicare as you travel. Not all private insurance is as portable. You are t deldent upon your employer either.

Obamacare was an enormous on what there was before...which was nothing. but Medicare For All would be an enormous improvement on Obamacare, my friends!

Why would I want my taxes raised to care for illegals and deadbeats?
You’re the dead beat.......gop supporters have always been in the way of prosperity. The economy gets worse under conservatives and does much better under liberals who believe in science and education. The gop is the party of the stooooopid.

one in eight people in the US live in poverty. In more socialistic Sweden, it’s 1 in 20.
its the same with other democratic Socialist countries ...less poverty.

???? Sweden is a tiny, elite, unrepresentative European country. It does not represent Europe anymore than Manhattan represents the USA. More socialist Europe lives at about 60% of our per capita GDP and would live at 40% if not for our inventions (we hold 70% of recent medical patents for example). Please no more irrational cherry picking!
America is the richest country in the world. The wealth is redistributed to the top by completely avoiding federal taxes by major corporations some of whom pay nothing and most wealthy. They control the gop.

this country has to be turned around 100%.
He is a democratic socialist and that is as socialistic as the National Socialist German Workers' Party(NAZI) you know people like you, one of your groups biggest supporters. The difference is there are no socialist here but you and your Nazi supporters do exist here. Nazi's said they were socialist also, it's simply short for National Socialist German Workers' Party. Love it your willingness to hang onto your lies but I know you need this one, it's your biggest hate insult and you people never want to lose one of them . Me doing this is like taking your most important toy away. This is a hoot, love it.

"The irony of Medicare for All is that gullible progressives think it will remove insurance company profits from the equation. Medicare does the opposite. A lot of people mistakenly think of Medicare as government run insurance. It's not. Medicare farms out insurance to the same companies that you're dealing with now. The only difference between Medicare and private insurance is that the government pays for it, rather than your employer."

It IS Government Run insurance, I am on Medicare, have to pay a MONTHLY Premium to the Government.

"The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), is a federal agency within the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) that administers the Medicare program and works in partnership with state governments to administer Medicaid, the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and health insurance portability standards."

The point he was trying to make, was that progressives think that if you have Medicare for All, that it eliminates profit driven insurance companies.

That's what I used to think:
But, if coverage is denied unfairly… don’t blame the government. It’s probably not “Medicare” that made the decision; it’s most likely a private insurance company that’s paid by Medicare to make coverage decisions.
God you people, they(private company's) are paid to administrate medicare, they insure nothing unless you have a advantage plan . people and their bullshit.
