We Need to Make it Much harder to get a Gun

Nobody wants to take away guns from responsible owners, but there are way too many irresponsible owners out there, and it is way too easy to get a gun. In some states you can just go to the store or a private sale, or a gun show, and instantly buy one. Online sales are a free for all.

That needs to stop. A Gun license needs to be like a drivers license. We need to track and monitor all guns and sales like cars, and all gun owners just like vehicle owners.

Cars kill if used irresponsibly and we have a whole slew of laws and policies designed to keep people safe from irresponsible drivers.

Guns kill way more than cars and are substantially more dangerous, yet most people can easily get one. That needs to stop, because too many innocent kids die.

They need to close all the major loop holes like private sales, online sales, and hun show sales, and they need to get serious about keeping us safe.

Come get them communist. If you scum would keep violent criminals in jail...

Dear The Banker
I found lists of states with more gun deaths than car deaths.

What if ALL CITIZENS of each district that wants 2nd Amendment rights agree to undergo the SAME
screening, training and oath that police and military are required in order to use arms for defense of the law and due process protections of persons and property, life and liberty?

If everyone in a district AGREES to undergo mental health screening and healing therapy to address pre-existing conditions of abuse, addiction or other impairing disorder otherwise preventing legal competence and compliance,
wouldn't that address both the issue of identifying dangerous people who aren't legally competent to defend the laws with arms, and defend the 2nd Amendment rights to bear arms for the purpose of defending laws and liberty from criminal infringement?
Total bullshit.

This is a perfect example of what I am talking about. Ones knowing the least trying to tell everybody else how to think. The Second Amendment doesn't say for hunting or target shooting. Our founders all have said the reasons. For protection against criminals and government. I see you have never been to a gun show. As if you had you would not be able to buy any gun without all the laws being followed. Matter of fact anyone with any knowledge would see you as one spouting the same lies every gun grabber tell over and over again. So why don't you start over? Those weapons you would not allow anyone to own cause less deaths than hands and feet. You should realize no matter how many times you tell a lie it is still a lie. Why don't you go to the next gun show and then tell of how many guns you walk out with. Because as is you are a joke at best.

Teabaggers think their gun will fight a tyrannical government
Your pea shooter isn't going to help you against an RPG, tanks or bombs.
SO, why can't people own them, without a license, background check and registration?

Then comparing gun deaths to car deaths.
Cars are meant for transport, a gun was meant for killing.

"Those weapons you would not allow anyone to own cause less deaths than hands and feet".
So, a person is going to kill 4 or more people at a school, mall or party than a gun would?
Tell everyone, WHEN did THAT happen?

Then they yap about "mental illness" causing gun deaths, I agree, but Trump and his cult, made it easier for them too.

It did not attract a ton of attention at the time (nothing does these days) but about a year ago on February 28, 2017, Congress passed and Donald Trump signed a law revoking an Obama-era regulatory initiative that made it harder for people with mental illness to buy a gun.

Yet despite this effort to roll back even a very modest effort to restrain the ability of seriously incapacitated people from obtaining deadly weapons, this morning Trump tweeted that there were “so many signs that the Florida shooter was mentally disturbed,” implying that someone should have done something to report him.

Specifically, what Obama did was order to Social Security Administration to take the list of people who were deemed so severely mentally ill that they are unfit to handle their own disability benefits and forward it to the FBI. The FBI was then supposed to incorporate that list in the background checks used to disqualify people from gun ownership.

When the crown tried to regulate our guns, we shot them. :dunno:

You should run for office.
Say you want to ban/confiscate all guns.
Let us know how it goes.

Make it as hard as you want.
But as long as you advertise Gun Free Zones the wackos will continue to get their guns illegally and go there to kill people.
Take and keep the wackos off the streets.

private sales is a state issue. There are states like mine that made laws that say all gun sales must go thru an FFL. No biggie.

Online sales thru a retail site or any other legitimate site are sent to an FFL, not your house. The FFL does the background check.

With private sales the seller can’t mail it to you. You would have to set up a meeting. If you live in a state that requires private sales go thru an FFL the check is done or it is an illegal sale.

There s no gun show loophole. Most gun sellers at a gun show are FFLs and they are required to perform background checks. The alleged gun show loophole is really the private sale “loophole”.

Many organizers of gun shows require background checks on private sale to cover their ass. And if in a state that requires their is no problem.

It's interesting how the Holocaust is covered in public schools less and less these days. Back in my day it was treated as the ultimate lesson. I guess they don't want these modern generations to be able to see the parallels slowly arising in our society.

We really need to figure out just how they do it and catch them in the act. I have a feeling that a small handful are extremely well orchestrated false flags and use various levels of technology, spycraft, cunning and sheer audacity. The vast majority of them are copycats who get set off by seeing one guy do it. That's how the ball gets rolling.

If we could just catch them at it, grooming shooters in Manchurian style...

We have none of that, liar.
You're FOS.
