We need felony reform. A felony shouldn't destroy your ability to get a job, gun or do things for the rest of your life. Maybe some of the lesser felony's should be removed from your record after 7 years like loans and unpayments of loans currently are on your credit report. Both effect your live in negative ways! A felony is worse.

Maybe lower level felonies can be removed after 5-7 years(class c,d,e's)

Seems legit to me, man. I've known a lot of family dudes that did stupid things when they were way younger and the stigma followed them for way too long.

I believe that once you have actually "completed" your "full" sentence in prison and are released, you should be considered "for the most part," to be able to return to a normal life.
That said, no business that deals with currency (banks, et cetera), should be mandated to hire someone who plied his/her/its trade as a bank robber.
Schools, daycare centers or any other establishment that deals with kids should be able to not hire pedophiles that have been released from prison.
This nonsense about allowing individuals to garner huge rap sheets full of crimes are "habitual" criminals and such individuals will NEVER change and thus should be locked up and never let out.

Going one step farther, restoring their Good Boy status if they don't assault someone on the way home. No more career criminals, no more repeat offenders, what a great idea.
