True, but my point is that Trump didn't pull out all our troops and Biden did. It was generally known that the Taliban was not holding up their end of the deal, so Trump did not pull out. My question is, why did Biden? Why didn't he go to the Taliban and tell them to cut the crap or there will be hell to pay. We could have done massive airstrikes against Taliban formations and the targeting of Taliban leadership for example, like we did with Soliemani in Iran.

Biden told us in April that we would not “conduct a hasty rush to the exit” in Afghanistan, that we would end our mission there “responsibly, deliberately, and safely,” and do it “in full coordination with our allies and partners.” He panned the idea that the Taliban would overrun the country and that U.S. personnel would have to be airlifted from the rooftops. And yet here we are. Maybe Trump would have done the same thing if he had won a 2nd term, but we'll never really know. But what we do know is that it didn't have to be this way; Biden is our president and the buck does indeed stop with him.
