We must send ground troops to Iran if air strikes fail to liberate Iranian women

Do you support sending ground troops, if necessary to liberate Iranian women?

We'll arm the Iranian people and that will be the end of the Iranian thug regime. :muahaha: What's even more hilarious is, the regime has nowhere to flee into exile. :auiqs.jpg:
This is a fine idea.

Also, I agree that

I don't think ground troops will be necessary.

Plenty of freedom loving boots on the ground already. I do hope they remember how to organize, though. I've heard life under totalitarian rule saps people from their ability to think clearly and organize units. Part of the whole "If you lie to the people often enough, they won't know fact from fiction" mentality.

God's speed to the people of Persia!

I think no we dont send ground troops. It takes to long to withdraw.. its ten times as complicated. We have done enough by dismantling Irans air defenses and navy ..as we go forward. We have shown them that if they insist on murdering their own protestors, that there is no place their next leader is safe. Why do we need to put troops on the ground?
There are enough Iranians who oppose the Isamists.
Troops will be needed if we want a secular democratic government in Iran. Although thousands have protested against the harsh treatment of the Ayatollah, it does not mean they want a secular leader and government. Any successful attempt to install a secular democratic goverment would meet with strong opposition backed by what remains the Iran military. The only way we got the government we wanted in Iraq was US troops assisting Iraqis. Like Iraq as soon as the bombs stop falling, ISIS and other Islamic terrorist groups will move in.

They are going to be facing the remains of the Iran military as well as ISIS and other Islamic terrorist groups who will be fighting any attempt to install a democratic secular government. Those protestors will not a have chance without US troops on the ground.

Air strikes are killing it. It has only been two days!

Israel is sending ground troops into Lebanon.

They've called up around 100,000 soldiers.

If there needs be any ground fighting, it will come after the air campaign is finished and it will be by the Israelis.

At this point I bet Bibi wants nothing better than to go into Iran and kick mullah ass hard.
The Iranians might see US troops as liberators but certainly not Israeli troops.

I don't know. Maybe not, but I have seen Iranians and Israelis elsewhere jubilantly celebrating the downfall of the Ayatollah.

Maybe it'll be a case of when your enemy of your enemy becomes your friend.

I'm not so sure that Iranians on the streets will not appreciate Israeli troops coming there to liberate them because to oppose them would be to prefer having the IRGC remain in power.

Pick up a rifle and die for the Ukies you slovenly coward.

Clicking through the TV channels I saw PBS News hour was on so I watched some of their coverage of the Iran war and the people on PBS didn't paint a very favorable picture of the war, citing Iran's view, and intentions to just ride out the USA until we just give up and go away, along with deeply questioning the reasoning and justification for the war.

The Iranian guard will have to be deeply crumbled before the people of Iran, ladies or men, can truly consider themselves free.

I certainly hope that Iran leadership and military targets can be hit at an increasing rate because right now, individual cells of soldiers are still getting off drones causing some damage in other countries. One thing that was suggested was that Iran was hitting hotels and stuff in other countries because they thought US soldiers (evacuated from bases) were living there now.

The other problem of course is to quickly nullify the Iranians trying to shut down the Straight as now 20% of the world's oil and gas is tied up there, which is going to hit many parts of the world before us who cannot otherwise supply their own from within like we do.

America has no business being there in the first place.

Hell phucking no.

We have the best Air Force in the world
ROFL .
Wrecked from the very start

US planes the laughing stock in Ukraine .
All gone . Blown to pieces .

F15s falling to pieces as we speak .

The US and Boeing have become somewhat of a joke .

So re-write OP .

We have the best Air Force in the world, and I am fairly confident that we will root out the evil Iranian leaders that today terrorize and dehumanize women in Iran.

But you never know, and if it takes too long to achieve our goal, we will have to send ground troops. Regime change can be very difficult without ground troops. Our leader, Donald Trump knows this and that is why he is not ruling out ground troops (See link).

Let us not hesitate in sending ground troops if we must. The anti-American Left will whine and attack us because they do not care about Iranian women or the nuclear bombs that were headed our way soon of we didn’t act.

God bless America.

Leftist America-hate is reaching unprecedented heights.

Don't worry, though, your people are praying on your behalf as well:

Oh Jesus. You make several threads bitching about Trump's military action in Iran and now you make this thread congratulating Trump for his military action in Iran? Moderators, isn't this the definition of a troll?

Dependent thinker be like “ I must wait until Trump makes his own decision on ground troops before I give you my own totally independent decision that does not depend on Trump‘s wishes”. 😂

The Deep-Seated Animosity between the two countries has not changed. If anything it has gotten worse with the Israeli attacks on Iran.
I would expect a number protestors might well welcome Israeli troops, however the hundreds of thousands of protestors are only tiny percentage of the 92 million Iranian living in Iran.

Without the backing the next Ayatollah and military, which seems very unlikely putting troops on the ground would be Iraq all over again.
