Are any trump devotees predicting, or desirous of, a ground war in Iran?

Pakistan prepared to host U.S.-Iran talks in ‘coming days’ as Trump weighs deploying ground troops

Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said Sunday that both the U.S. and Iran have expressed confidence in Pakistan to hold talks in the coming days aimed at ending the U.S.-Israeli war in Iran.

In a statement following a meeting with the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Egypt, Dar said Pakistan is engaging with the U.S. to find an end to the conflict, and that “both Iran and the US have expressed their confidence in Pakistan to facilitate the talks.

“Pakistan will be honoured to host and facilitate meaningful talks between the two sides in coming days, for a comprehensive and lasting settlement of the ongoing conflict,” Dar said.

It is unclear whether the U.S. and Iran had agreed to any formal talks with Pakistan. The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment from CNBC.

Up until now the man who avoided the draft by having a friendly doctor say he had bone spurs has not shown the stomach for sending ground troops in to harm's way on a large scale. He certainly didn't have the stomach for it himself. Hence the draft dodging. Neither has anyone in his family. Having no history of sacrifice for the nation in the fam explains a lot. However, he has shown an affinity for dropping bombs on people's heads. Sometimes the wrong heads.

A reluctance to send in foot soldiers is actually commendable. Especially with Pete Hegseth, the former minor TV personality, chomping at the bit for more blood. What isn't is being in a position to consider doing it due to under estimating the enemy.

Strategery.........thanks George..............has not proven to be a strength (to be kind) of the regime. As it turns out Don is more of a bomb first, try to figure out what to do next kind of prez. At this point I'm not sure what he plans to do. I don't think he does either.

Iran had this coming.... so although I wish it had been done a long time ago by other presidents I accept this as action overdue...
Iran did not have this coming. And you don't seem to understand that Iran has been waiting for this since 1953.

Trump would be very unwise to continue this attack, and even more unwise to send troops into Iran. He is going to have to find 90 million Americans to match what he would be up against, and 90 million Americans will not want to be fighting this war.

If he chooses to use a nuke, America as you know it will get erased.

You don't care or even take notice when an Iranian funded proxy group kills American soldiers.... you relish when Iran kills Jews... so your have zero moral standing in this issue... you are on the side of evil...,

We'll find out on 4/6 what happens if Hormuz is not opened. Depends how stupid Iran is.

No matter what you say about rump, at least he didn't give Iran $65,000,000,000 to build nukes and develop ICBMs like Obama did

I think the free Persians will be good allies for the next Thousand years if we can help lift the communist/totalitarian/IRGC regime off their backs. Fucked if I know what DJT thinks, but the actions are in line with a better future for everyone as far as I can tell.

We need regime change, no matter what it takes.

We want regime change and no nukes
Precisely. That's it.

Another stupid whataboutism.

Name the last war a Democrat started.

And it wasn't Ukraine.
Progressives made sure the war did not stop. And all of the elites, politicians, entertainers and known media that went there to visit was strange.

if this was harris doing the exact same thing you would be supporting her...who are you trying to kid?.

The GOP congress is feckless.

<~~~~~~~~~~>
It's not the GOP that has shut down the gov't, or moved the goal posts each time an offer has been made by the GOP in Congress.
Schumer and Democrats don't care if anyone is hurt or the DHS, Coast Guard and Secret Service are ever paid if they win to make their point.
Trump and the majority Congress will not allow illegal immigrants to cross the borders into the U.S. and will continue to deport the most violent illegal criminals and those that don't belong that Biden allowed into America.
ICE will NOT be destroyed by the whimsical, petulant, infantile so-called politicians calling themselves Democrats.
