I'm not an American, I have no need for Planned Parenthood, and I am grateful to live in a country that treats it's women with respect in regard to their reproductive decisions.

3% of what Planned Parenthood does is abortions, NONE of it funded by the federal government. NONE. It is against the law, except in the case of incest or rape, or the life of the mother, for federal funds to be used for abortions provided by Planned Parenthood.

The other 97% of their services are things like STD screening and treatment, PAP smears, and all other women's health issues. It is very good medical care for women that can't afford a doctor.

All the Republicans have done is once again stuck a knife in the back of poor women because the favorite thing for Republicans is putting their boot on the throat of those that can't fight back. Jesus helped the poor, Republicans worship the anti-Christ.

. All the Dems, liberals or far left are doing (like you), is using poor women as human shields to commit murder of the unborn on a grand scale in this country. It doesn't matter what percentage it is, where as if it is a part of it at all then they are done or tainted.

Civilized societies become so by recognizing that ALL of the citizens are valuable, not just the rich ones, or the ones, in power. Civilized societies take in refugees, educate the children of the poor the same as the children of the rich, they provide health care for ALL of their people, as a right, not a privilege.

Civilized societies have mandated vacation times and other protections for workers who are sick, pregnant or injured. They put their PEOPLE ahead of cheap goods. They don't rail against the social safety net, and they don't feel it necessary to carry a gun everywhere.

In fact, in a civilized society, citizens are not allowed to carry handguns. The US is not and has never been a civilized society. It came close, but the gun nuts and the selfish corporate interests took over in 1980 and the US became an Oligarchy. Trump is solidifying those gains for the 1%.

No, you can't. You can't force your particular religious belief into law. Laws are based on the Constitution and the laws are based on the rights granted under the Constitution, not on what your favourite sky fairy tells you.

What if your brand of religion says that divorce is wrong, and that marriage is forever. Or that women must wear dresses, not pants, and long sleeves to cover their arms. I'm not a fan of abortion but am perfectly willing to see some of my money go for abortions IF both parents are liberal Democrats. OK, still OK with it if only one but worry a bit that, had the infant survived, it might have been infected. Maybe safest if the mother were not a Democrat; less chance of infection in the birth canal?
