Unless you’re really smart and get a job at a major tech firm, you’ll be stuck around median wage and you’ll still have student loans to pay off. Good money but it’s not like you’re going to be a single income household and going on vacations to Europe.

Are you ******* retarded? The problem with those designs wasn't on the assembly lines, it was in the board rooms.

Case in point, since you brought it up. the Pinto had a design flaw that caused it to explode in a rear end collision. The fix would have cost $11.00 a unit in 1970 dollars.

Someone in the boardrooms of Ford decided it was cheaper to pay the families of people killed/injured in accidents than to recall 11 million units to upgrade with the $11.00 fix.
