We can compete with china in manufacturing

Okay, tough guy, if you say so.

By this time next year, we'll be in a recession thanks to Trump's tariffs.

We put your welfare fraud boys to work at $10/hr to escape prison. Force your Silicon Valley homeO dirt bag CEO build here vs. VietNam or China with live on-site facilities.

You rotten hypocrites kill countries with your ignorance 🐂 🐂 ox
The Chinese are beating us because they are smart and we are ******* stupid as shit.

You own it. You've voted in people for 50 years that never worked on day in one real job. We got one now who has. You're welcome.

Thanks should be your only reply but you grunt out nonsense like a hog.

Hold on, now, most of the people on welfare are already working for $10.00 an hour at Starbucks or McDonalds. You are just subsidizing their workforce through welfare.

Manufacturing actually takes a certain level of skill.

China invested in those skills. We did not. This is why they are winning.

The video points out that we can lower the cost of raw materials in several ways including energy profuction

And mining

But even if America matches china in the cost of raw materials there is still the issue of labor costs

China pays much less for workers than America pays

The chinese standard of living is lower than ours

Some misguided people here will say that American workers should make less

And/or that we need cheap migrant labor from the 3rd World

But I reject that idea

We need tariffs that close the unfair advantage that china enjoys

No. We can't. Manufacturing requires cheap labor. That's why 100,000 manufacturing jobs have been lost since Trump took office.

Biden tried to fix that with the Inflation Reduction Act, that put the money in place for infrastructure rebuilding, and renewable energy projects, that were starting to create millions of new jobs, that was benefitting red states more than anyplace else.

Trump destroyed that. He actually believes imposing the largest tax increase on America in history, which is what tariffs are, will somehow magically create manufacturing jobs, which has blown up in his face.

China has the largest gold, silver, copper, and rare earth mineral deposits in the world. Indonesia comes in second on gold, and silver, followed by Greenland on rare earth mineral deposits. With the need for more electrical energy than anything else, copper is becoming a more valuable commodity.

Canada has more untapped mineral resources than we do. Trump is being given bad advice that he can take these resources by force, which is what he attempted to do in Venezuela today with their oil.

He's getting ready to find out just how bad that advice was.

i dont even expect 100% US manufacturing as we had in the fabulous 1950’s

We can import from Vietnam, Taiwan, S Korea or even places like India as long as they buy products from America too

There should be a balance of imports and exports from friendly trading partnets

Which china is not

They intend to bury us and I dont want to see that happen

As long as the communist CCP rules china we should buy nothing from them

Why dont you say that medicine requires cheap labor?

Or members of congress should be paid the same wages they would get in India?

Why do government employees have higher pay than workers in the private sector?

When we raise the cost of cheap imports from china we are raising the income of American workers and thats a good thing

Wow, so you are "proud" to be in the middle of the pack?

Story of your life, I'm sure.
Oh, I am way above middle of the pack.

You though, you're definitely bottom of the barrel. And it shows.

Because they had the good sense to hold on to their unions.

Oh, I am way above middle of the pack.

Whatever gets you through the night, buddy.

Not to worry. Unlike you I made my money, you're still begging for handouts.

Correct. No bullshit union "work rules" that cost money and reduce production.

We don’t have the workforce to show up to these jobs or the engineers to facilitate them.
