We Are Witnessing The Birth Of a Banana Republic

Earlier this week, the federal prosecutors who ran Roger Stone’s trial abruptly dropped out of the case after impeached president trump’s lapdog, William Barr intervened to reduce their sentencing recommendation.

All Americans who are interested in maintaining our Democratic process understand William Barr should resign. His unethical political interference in the sentencing of impeached president trump’s crony Roger Stone can be seen only as a “grave threat to the fair administration of justice”, to quote what more than 1,100 former Justice Department lawyers have written in a public statement. “But because we have little expectation he will do so,” they continue, “it falls to the Department’s career officials to take appropriate action to uphold their oaths of office and defend nonpartisan, apolitical justice”—in line with the Justice Department’s own rule book for lawyers.

The Justice Department alumni, 85% of whom served under Republican presidents, and more than 100 of whom served under impeached president trump, were crystal-clear about what’s at stake here: “Governments that use the enormous power of law enforcement to punish their enemies and reward their allies are not constitutional republics; they are autocracies.”

Of course, few, if any of impeached president trump’s devoted fanatics would agree with the 1,100 former DOJ attorneys. As we’ve seen over the years, the FOX Noise-educated conservatives believe their knowledge of constitutional law is superior to even the most learned law professor. (In fact, we’ve seen the FOX Noise-educated conservatives use this “superior knowledge" to contradict even the most knowledgeable experts in their fields. Just read their posts on these message boards.)

For all of their FOX Noise inspired wisdom, few conservatives understand the dangers of the road down which the impeached president trump, Moscow Mitch, John Roberts, William Barr, and the rest of his swamp rats are leading us. We are witnessing the birth of a banana republic.

As a postscript to this OP, a word of caution to Moscow Mitch, Devin Nunes, John Roberts, and anyone else in a position of power who used (or will use) that position to aid the impeached president trump. As the impeached president trump continues to consolidate his dictatorial powers, those individuals mentioned above should remain vigilant, as should anyone else who could be perceived as a threat by the extremely paranoid and very vindictive impeached president trump. If at any time they hear the impeached one speak of “Operation Hummingbird”, they'll know their days are numbered, as purge has been ordered.

As for saying the impeached president trump was acquitted. If the impeached one had been tried in a true court of law, not the sham put on in the Senate, Moscow Mitch would be guilty of jury tampering.

OP fully approves of corruption, LOVES it...... as long as his agenda benefits.

But cries like a baby with a soiled diaper when it doesn't.

We Are Witnessing The Birth Of a Banana Republic

You must REALLY be a passionate religious believer in the global warming cult, if you think the USA can grow bananas. Too bad we can't, but citrus is about the most tropical we can manage on a commercial basis. There might be a few banana trees in Miami or greenhouses. but not enough ever to make us a "banana republic."

Wow. I admire your optimism![/QUOTE]

Hey, it must be a banana republic, we all still have our guns. So, the rebels will be in the mountains.

I don't think you really KNOW what a Banana Republic IS. It's nothing close to what we have in the US right now. And we never WILL because of strong patriots like our president. Thank you.

When the European bankers got control of the monetary system for good in 1913, that is when the shadow government and the their deep state lackeys started taking hold of this country and pushed for the incorporating of cities, counties, burgs, townships, etc, etc...and it matters greatly as to why "incorporating" something changes subject matter jurisdiction and the abandonment of common law to statutory law. Wilson and FDR were fucking traitors of the highest order. Fuck the "progressive commies" and the neocon sacks of shit that have either been compromised or flat out sold us down the river. You don't know diddly squat which is typical for the leftard clown posse of sniveling commies. We have been a "banana republic" since the bankers used Teddy Roosevelt to siphon votes from Taft with the Bull Moose party thus allowing their "boy" to enter through the back that had already agreed to sign off on the Federal Reserve Act.

Summation: You are one stupid sack of commie shit......

You (the OP writer) are really just talking about something which has been true on the local level for over forty years that I am aware of. I liked some ones point about common Law vs. statutory law. Statutory law is little more than our basest instincts run rampant. It is the rule of politic and should not even be called Law. That would imply that we live under the rule of Law. We don't, we live under the rule of politic.

Regardless of the endless stupidity we've all seen posted by the right-wingers on these message boards for so long, Moscow Mitch, Devin Nunes, John Roberts, William Barr, and the many others who have helped the impeached president trump make fools out of those who voted for him in 2016, they should know full well the impeached one cannot be trusted.

Any one, or all of them could receive the "Jeffrey Epstein treatment", whether they are in jail, in bed at home, or on the road. And, the impeached president trump's devoted fanatics will deny any wrongdoing by their king.

Moscow Mitch, Nunes, Roberts, the many other members of this corrupt gang of criminals, have proven to the impeached one that they cannot be trusted either.

Inevitably, the impeached one will begin to seriously question the loyalty the Moscow Mitch gang (a good working reference for this group of crooks), eventually, the entire group will get the "Jeffrey Epstein treatment". “Operation Hummingbird”.

The impeached president trump's devoted fanatics will cheer wildly when the impeached one brags of his handling of the... "traitors". Could anyone expect less of a dictator who studied under Vladimir Putin?

^Semantics^...Just another way of saying :boo_hoo14:

Trump hasn't been humbled by impeachment. Instead, he has been emboldened to use all the means of the United States government for his own benefit. And as the months wear on, just think of the increasingly corrupt mischief we’ll be seeing from the impeached president trump.
