The reason that the mass media and the Biden admin keep parroting a drop in crime rates, while everyone sees crime increasing in the major blue cities, is a change in how crime is reported and new systems put in place which localities aren't using.
I have long been puzzling over this in a big way. But I got to the bottom of it.
Over and over, I hear one thing, but in the news, I see another. They say, according to stats, crime has fallen, yet we hear, story after story, it doesn't seem that way. . . this is a puzzle.

"The FBI will release its first full report on crime trends in the United States today based exclusively on its new incident reporting system. The report traditionally drops the last Monday of September, but it did not appear last week.
This new National Incident-Based Reporting System will be fertile ground for those who want to distort or exaggerate crime trends for political or commercial reasons. And, it lays bare a dirty secret about counting crime in the United States: As a nation, we keep horrible, incomplete data that makes it impossible to get an accurate sense of the scope or impact of crime. . . In fact, only 63% of the country's police departments submitted anything, and some of the data that was submitted was incomplete. The crazy thing is that President Trump despite delivering on promises and doing good for America more than any other President in my lifetime, even Reagan, did so by being the least intrusive and meddling President in my lifetime. He removed barriers to liberties intended by the Constitution, removed massive unnecessary rules and regulations, and pushed policies that encouraged and enabled the private sector to prosper rather than throwing money at problems and not caring whether any good was produced by doing so.

And he was determined that our allies stop using us as their sugar daddy and personal ATM machines and pull their own weight in their own interests including the U.N., NATO, trade agreements, etc. They hated him for standing up for American first, but they also respected him and knew he said what he meant and he meant what he said. That's why we had the closest thing to world peace even us old timers have ever experienced in our lifetime.
And he did it according to law and by enforcing the existing laws right down the line. In the tiny handful of instances the courts ruled he could not do something, he found a legal way to get it done anyway. There is no way he was any kind of threat to our 'democracy' as the Democrats are so fond of saying. It has been the Democrats ignoring the courts, making up the law as they go along, and shredding the Constitution.
If we give them another four years, it will be turn out the lights because the great American experiment will be no more.

What we have seen over the last few years is the power that a politically corrupted Party and their Media Machine has in creating and controlling a fake narrative.
