Water level rising on Lake Mead

And the flooding in Vegas is off the charts!

Why Lake Mead Water Levels Are Rising Again

Great, more extreme weather.
This year, where I am, has been absolutely boiling. This year we've had 103-104 degrees for WEEKS, we never get above 99 degrees.
We had 86 degrees for two weeks in MARCH. Every month has seen a two week heat wave that has reached or exceeded record temperatures, and done it for a prolonged period.

Yes, and I'm not suggesting that the 20 year drought is over, there would need to be years of increased rainfall to accomplish that.
It is however good to see instead of the same stories about the lake shrinking, a little bit of hope.

It's not just the drought. It's mainly the millions more people that that water is being used to support.

It's stupid to build huge cities in the desert.

Only because we've had a wetter than normal monsoon season. The lake is down like 170ft from its high back in the 90s. That trend is not reversing because of a little bit of rain.
What do you think that trend comes from? The conspiracy theory of climate change?
