Watching Biden, I wonder if he has considered this...

In Biden's speech today he mentioned several times the economy that comes from converting cars to electricity. The gas savings.
I wonder where he could come up with gas savings because as more cars use electricity where will the electricity come from?
For example Utility companies use coal and oil to produce electricity for the 500,000 charging stations Biden wants. If gasoline usage reduces, that means oil and coal costs will become more scarce as exploration will be dramatically reduced. Oil companies will no longer be exploring as existing gas & oil supplies initially will be lower in prices as usage declines, BUT then at some point with no new sources being explored what will happen?
Another aspect of Biden's 500,000 charging stations... be prepared for this:
The charging time can range from less than 20 minutes to 20 hours or more, depending on these factors.
Charging the growing number of PEVs requires a robus network of stations for both consumer and fleets.

Hydrogen Fuel Cell vehicles would be a better choice, as cold weather drains batteries power.

Using the below chart inputs here are some interesting projections:
Will the trucking industry convert to electricity and if so with drivers not allowed to operate a vehicle for more than 11 hours within a 24-hour time frame. If a truck driver adheres to federal and laws (dependent on state and interstate), they will average about 55 to 60 miles per hour; this means that most truck drivers average around 605 to 650 miles per working day—although mileage varies depending on the route, traffic, and weather conditions.
So a driver traveling 600 miles requires 4 hours of charging using the fastest charging method.
What will be the additional costs the trucking industry will be passing on to all of us... just to do climate-change-feel-good.

Yes that's correct...
Plug-in electric vehicles (PEVs)—the collective term for plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) and all-electric vehicles (EVs)—are capable of drawing electricity from off-board electrical power sources (generally the electricity grid) and storing it in batteries.
Though not yet widely available, fuel cell vehicles use hydrogen to generate electricity onboard the vehicle

So with the above, why is Biden pushing the OLD fashion charging stations?
