Watch: RFK jr confirmation hearing now

He speaks poorly, therefore everything he says is a lie.

I think obesity comes more from overeating anything and getting zero exercise. You can eat what’s recommended in the old food pyramid and stay completely healthy if you balance it with sufficient activity. Calories-in vs calories-out.
Way too many Americans sit on their asses and the only exercise they get is answering the door to pay the food deliverer.
The real science is proving that is not the case.

A diet primarily based in fats and protein provides every single nutrient necessary for optimal health in humans. In fact, of the 3 macro nutrients found in diet, carbohydrates are unnecessary. 100%. There is zero need for the human body to have carbohydrates.

Zero carb, or even very low carb diets have proven to reverse type II diabetes, if not sure it.

.

Well, there are other avenues of administration for cannabis.

My very sick husband got some relief from eating it in the form of chocolates or little cheddar crackers. He had never used the drug recreationally and we lived in a state where it's approved for medical use and is strictly regulated. It is the best treatment I've ever seen for restless legs syndrome.

Otherwise, I agree. I think recreational pot smokers are stupid.

.
Cannabis has zero medicinal benefits. That’s all a ruse to mainstream the drug. Your husband’s relief was the equivalent of absorbing liquor. There is no FDA approval of pot as medicine partly because they’d have to list the very real and multiple serious risks associated with it. And because it’s not medicinal

Complex carbs are fuel food. If you exercise sufficiently you will manage weight. Simplex carbs (sugar) are a problem and are stored. Fats and saturated fats are artery cloggers and, again, need sufficient exercise management.

Okay.

When the wrongfully considered dietarty recommendations of the US government started back in the late 60's and early 70's, there was a massive campaign to demonize cholesterol and saturated fat. That campaign set the entire educational doctrine to demonize anything that was not grain driven and meat dissociative.

Three entire generations have been wrongfully eudated (indoctrinated) into the belief that a heart-healthy diet is 7 to 11 servings of carbohydrates. Is it any wonder that Alheimezer (Type 3 diabeties) and obesite has grown to epidemic proportions?

The entire baseline of the FDA and the Health and Human Resources of the Federal government needs to be dismantled and rebuilt along the real science of nutrition.

I have issues with Bobby Kennedy, but so far, HE is the ONLY persons running for office or has been nominated, who will correctly tackle this issue. Ameica is in real trouble healthwise and it isn't some distraction of vaccines that he isn't against but the reeducation of Americans on their diet.
Saturated fats are clearly linked to cardiac disease where mortality has fallen by 75% in the last 50 years.

As for carbs, there’s distinctions between complex carbs and the simple carbs and dramatically different in terms of their effects in human health.

The problem isn’t the recommendations, the problem is people aren’t following them. They’re eating far too many simple sugars, far too many calories, far too little fiber and far too little activity.

You guys can complain about USDA all you want with low quality and fringe medical ideology, but the fact remains that few people listen to them anyway.

Good.

You keep eating that way.

Disproven.

I fyou consume 3000 calories a day, but need only 2000 calories, you will need to be a world class athlete to burn enough to to reach balance.

No carb is needed. If you exercise, your liver will convert protein to the necessary glucose to sustain the exercise. In fact, your body will make the necessary glucose for your bodily requirements.

Science has proven this.

They confirmed a young National Guard Major without even command experience to run the armed forces. Whatever would make you think this nut ball would be in question for that post? You know better, then to sit there feigning suspense. It's a done deal.
none was needed. I challenge you to present the qualifications for that job!! run along loser.

Hard to eat healthy with everything having sugar crammed into it and God only knows what else that is bad for you.

It especially is hard on the poor and uneducated.

Who was that?

What’s so hard about it? Don’t eat the stuff crammed with sugar.
For example, you have to go out of your way to find a cereal that is not crammed full of sugar, and it is at a much higher price.
