The US didn’t do anything to Venezuela. Chavez ruined the country all by himself by nationalizing the oil industry and putting his crooked friends in charge of it. Then he created a demand economy directed by the government. They waged a successful revolution against the evil US backed Batista regime. It's been tough for the people but they've never doubted their revolutionary resolve. Some Americans are coming to have the same feelings now too.
