The west side of our state has a real love affair with supporting statist left big g'ment ideology. Whatever happens west of the Cascades effects us folks on the eastern side of Washington state. At one time a fairly strong movement existed on the eastern side of Washington state to form the State Of Eastern Washington so we could divorce the west coast lefties west of the Cascades. Unfortunately the statist left kept migrating into eastern Washington state & many in eastern Washington are starting to resemble the Olympia crowd more & more. The idolatry of big government is one potent drug of addiction for sure... & a fatal one for humanity.
