The Washington Post and its band of Yellow Journalists have become a formidable domestic enterprise which works hand in hand with socialist revolutionaries who now control the Democrat Party. A casual review of how the Washington Post treated reports of the Biden family’s unethical international business dealings before the election is a case study in how its presses were used to obfuscate and cover up the Biden family’s illicit influence peddling [quid pro quo] money making operations, while disparaging a so-called “conservative media” for reporting on these deals.

Witness a Washington Post story dated Oct. 22, 2020, by Philip Bump, titled We’ve reached the Tony Bobulinski stage of the campaign. Instead of actually reporting the facts concerning Hunter Biden’s business dealings, Philip Bump cleverly turns the story, by innuendo, into an effort by Trump to win a second term. He writes:

“There are two patterns that have so far defined Trump’s effort to win a second term. The first is that his campaign seizes upon particular themes and shakes them ferociously like a dog that’s nabbed a squirrel. The second is that these themes often overlap with the obsessions of conservative media, both because they often emerge from that world and because they often inform it.”

On the same day, the Washington Post publishes another story, this one titled Trump campaign trots out former business associate of Hunter Biden ahead of debate Once again, instead of the Washington Post making an attempt to verify unethical business dealings engaged in by the Biden family, they boast that “Biden was permitted to engage in business at that point like any private citizen, though he has denied any overseas dealings.”

The article goes on to besmirch Trump by noting a baseless lawsuit against him involving the emoluments clause of the Constitution.

From what I can find, the MSM did investigate Bobulinski's claims about Joe's involvement but found no evidence to support them. There is no smoking gun.

Did Hunter try and leverage his dad's position for his personal gain? Who wouldn't? Did he deal with one of the largest economies on the planet? Again, who wouldn't? Donald and Ivanka did.
